In Network Attached Storage (NAS)

I upgraded from the ds220j. Added 8gb memory card and followed directions to migrate the disks. Worked like advertised.

I'm a real novice when it comes to any type of networking but I found the machine setup simple enough for even me to understand. Over all, I'm pleased with the software and I'm able to do what I wanted to do on my local network..

Synology NAS arrived early and was easy to set up. Operating without faults!!

Excellent solid hardware (2.5GB LAN, M.2 Storage for cashing, I/O Ports) at a great price. Installation of hardware (drives, etc.) done well. UGREEN NAS app make it simple and quick to get the unit up and running.

Decent price for the hardware, sleek design, upgradable RAM, software updates are frequent, drive bays are solid, can control fan speed for the CPU

Good Interface, stable product, great price, good online Video training, easy to setup for basic functions, easy to link to vie home network, TV connections. Quite and good power management.

So easy to setup physically and soft. Enought apps for my needs (Streaming movies) With a WD red in it, was able to stream over Wi-Fi and copyng large files at the same time on it. Silent Robust construction No compatibility limitations compare to... tried to give Ugreen a try and I was really impressed.

- 8 Bays with option to expand to max of 18 supports a lot of SMB or enthusiast use cases - 8GB included memory is ok I suppose ;) upgrading ram is a lot easier than the 1815+ or before due to better placement of the mobo - Ability to add NVME for cache and 10GB NICs for expansion has been sorely needed - Same great usability of DSM - Well-supported 3rd party package lines - usability of basically whatever SATA drive you put in it along with any desired RAID you want to use - Same drive trays as its predecessors - Did I mention a lot of functionality? If you can think of it, you can probably do it with a Synology - Ryzen CPU vs older Intels in previous units is a big difference; if you owned, say, an 1815+ or earlier you'll see a radical difference in overall performance

i was looking for a new Plex server for full 4k HD remux HEVC mkv files. This is it!!! Play files without issue using LG tv plex app. If youre looking for a new Plex server you wont regret this purchase.

It just works. And in the computer world thats a big win. Runs as fast as a local hard drive.

Easy to setup and configure

NAS that's easy to setup. Was pretty cool how using the website and connecting to my terramaster device the operating system got all set up.
