Easy to setup, great management, solid product!

I'm a real novice when it comes to any type of networking but I found the machine setup simple enough for even me to understand. Over all, I'm pleased with the software and I'm able to do what I wanted to do on my local network..
Synology NAS shipped quickly, arrived as expected in perfect condition.
I had a DS415+ since about 2014-2015 and it finally died on me, so I ordered the new DS1821+ and put my old drives in and it booted up with a migration wizard and was up and running in a few minutes.

This is a great item for backing up and storing my documents, photos, videos and for backing up 3 iPhones from 3 family laptops. Setup was so simple, it actually took longer to put in the hard drives than to run the software!
