Good cooling. Quiet.
Excellent fitment for tiny computers.
Excellent overclocking performance, maintains a 400/3000 boost in benchmarks. Backed that down to 300/2000 for every day use and haven't had any crashes or issues. Great thermals, doesn't pass 61c even under full load with auto fan profile. Zero coil whine or fan noise on auto profile. Fans are silent up for 45%. DLSS is just so much better than FSR4, coming from a Team Red convert.
Getting over 120 fps max settings In most games, even the new monster hunter is around 90.
- Looks amazing - Superb cooling (meaning super quiet while gaming) - NO noticeable coil whine
AMD Reference card is very high quality! Fairly quiet even in my mostly-mesh case (Asus AP201). Handles everything I throw at it, even Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 at High settings at 4K native! GTA V maxed out only uses half the GPU.
Boosts well above advertised clocks (hits 3.3 GHz+ in heavy loads) Rock-solid stability with -85mV undervolt and +10% power limit Ran Speed Way stress test (20 mins) at 66 FPS avg with zero throttling GPU temp never exceeded 59°C incredibly efficient cooler Passed 20-loop stress test with 99.1% stability score Very quiet even under load fans rarely hit full speed Great value for performance; easily competes with more expensive GPUs Future-proof with 16GB VRAM and strong raster + RT performance
-smaller of the OC 9070xts (just BARELY fits in an asus prime case) - mobo rgb can control gpu rgb -boosts to 3150-3300 with full power limit and -75 mv undervolt -gpu magnet panel hides cables very well
The price is just right and the performance seems to be right in line with the normal 3070, also seems to be running very cool
This is not the fastest (or most expensive) video card but so far it works surprisingly well on Linux Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS and in particular with X11 in a multi-user setting. It is about 8 times faster than the Zotac 1660Super it replaced, giving a Blender 3.4.0 score of 5776.23 (in top 3%) even with a truly antique CPU/mobo. So far there are no problems running Linux compatible games directly from steam (wine not needed) I was a just bit worried whether it would fit in an Antec P10 Flux mid tower (mobo connectors etc) but it has worked out well. Indeed, the case has a fan that blows fresh air from outside directly into the GPU fans so the GPU temps stay quite low (fans are very quiet). To prevent card sag, I used an Antec GPU Support Bracket stand (similar to https://www.newegg.com/p/1DW-00B2-00009.) The fans on this card have not added to the noise of the system; indeed, despite having 3 PWM controlled fans, this card is quieter than the Zotac 1660Super (with 2 fans) that it replaces. In fact the noisiest aspect of the system is not any one of the 14 fans, it is the CPU water pump in the AIO. Since the case is opaque and has thermal dampening, it is still very quiet.
Bought this card to replace my 5-year-old 1080 Ti. It is an absolute performance beast. The performance is great and using in stock settings is absolute silent during normal operation and a smooth sail under load, temperatures never reach about 80c. I play mostly raster games, many of them several years old. That said, I play a few current AAA titles like Cyberpunk and the Witcher III as is a breeze.
Does all it need do for a bit cheaper
All white 6 GB and under $120
- Worked great in 2 different systems - Obvious instant improvements in games
Rock solid overclock of 1920Mhz -1935Mhz running Topaz Video AI at 80% GPU load Works great with Topaz Labs products for enhancing, editing and upscaling
Good performance, good frames, I have great stability! I really like this card.
Honestly, the card does everything I expected it to and I play mainly on 2K. I have it paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and I've had absolutely no issues at all with my build (I bought this for a new PC build I was doing at the time).
-A++ on aesthetics and cosmetics. Bar none it is pretty with its sakura anime character on the backplate and the heatsink/fan shroud design too. The fan blades look like sakura petals. -It has 16GB of video RAM -Big heatsink and 3 fans. Mine idles around 36C. Fans seem to only turn on at around 60C. -Great performance playing on high settings (not max) at 1080P resolution. -Comes with anime and sakura stickers in the box. -Card no longer has any perfume smell. It just smells like new electronics now.
The vapor chamber cooler can soak up a ton of heat before fans ever need to ramp up. Most of my games have never needed the fan to run beyond the minimum speed, 1200 rpm. When you manually enable the fans, it'll drop to 2C above room temperature, like 28C. Just insane. Meanwhile, I'll open YouTube and my Ryzen CPU will randomly spike to 66C, it's a comical difference between the two. No regrets spending a little more money just to see those super low temperatures while 4K gaming on ultra, at least when I purchased the card the premium for the vanguard model wasn't much more than the other 5070. Very similar feeling to splurging on a premium heatsink for a CPU, just to see those low low temperatures.
