The memory chip came sealed in brand new in original retail packaging with security stickers to verify it has never been opened...this is definitely not one of those generic bulk memory sellers. The shipping time was reasonably quick considering it was shipped overseas. Installed in my laptop and noticed significant difference with speed and performance in games.

I was not sure if it would work with my laptop, so I took the gamble. The RAM showed up safe and installed into my laptop with no issues. If it helps anybody, I have an Acer aspire vx15 vx5-591g, and i swapped one of the 8GB sticks for this 16GB stick. I know it is not advised to run mismatched sticks, but it worked fine and uses all (now) 24 GB of RAM.
