This thing is a beast for its price and size. Obviously it won't compare to the costly high end shredders out there, but for typical household use you can't do much better. It handles what it has been fed quickly and shuts off quite fast. It starts to struggle a bit when you reach that 12 sheet capacity, but that is not a surprise since at that point you are actually running it *at* capacity. I haven't had any issues with it clogging or overheating or anything along those lines. The removal basket makes dealing with the waste extremely easy as well.
