Pros: When it works it does what's promised, quite nicely.

Cons: Doesn't work with all video cards. I have a Quadro FX550 in my Dell Precision-390 workstation. After considerable consultation with tech support their conclusion is that my card doesn't work with their switch - and then have no options. Apparently the synchronization during startup goes awry, probably because it's too fast. I can workaround by starting with cables directly attached and then switching to the standard setup, but it's a pain. I'm going to keep the box and switch my video card - ouch, but worth it.
