Excellent Burner
Pros: 2ND Review had for about 5 months. Burner is Great. software that is package with it is useless. Great Burner for DVD, CD , BDR & BDRE works on Linux using KB3
Cons: Software is Power2Go LE would not work with higher screen resolutions at all. Constant nag screens even if you are performing functions enabled with LE version. Many of those functions don't work well. Use another package such as Ashampoo Studio 2013 which is free.
May not be what you want
Pros: Lots of storage cheap when on sale> Attractive compact durable design.
Cons: I have purchase 3 over last 7 months. Not even close to speed claims on Windows 8.1 and 10 or Linux. Drive will be dead when trying to make bootable. Will not be recongnized on any usb port. Used all the utilities on silicon power website to no avail. I thought the first drive was a fluke to repeated the same procedure I have used on many flash drives. 2 drive dead and iun-recoverable. USE ONLY AS STORAGE WILL TAKE NTFS OR EXT4 FORMATIING!!
Overall Review: I read all comments about this issue and cannot find a dependable thread or discussion. Manufacturer is not helpfull. May just be this particular model, but cannot take the chance.
low quality control
Pros: None
Cons: replaced fan that squealed 2 of the of 4 pack were defective and started squealing within 5 minutes. Only two were tolerable?
Overall Review: Not recommended
First Windows table
Pros: decent quad core atom, does not get too hot. Resolution makes is readable with good eyes. Could make a very portable WIN 10 system if HDMI port on HP docking station worked. Makes a good dedicated organizer with the correct software.
Cons: only one usb-c port, docking port is HP proprietary. I have the HP dock for this table and the HDMI only partially works!!! Does not come with stylus pen, which reduces productivity.
Overall Review: Would only recommend for use with dedicated apps, ie Portable ESSENTIALPIM (email, notes, passwords, calendar), AND GOGGLE VOICE
nothing to install. connect and go
Pros: Works on all my mini, and stick , and lenovo Yogi 10' and 13" laptosps (4 total; provides a USB 3.0 Hub; Has indicator lights use full. Bought 2. Economical soution
Cons: None
Overall Review: Best choice for newer laptops with no Ethernet Port, and limited USB ports!
OK, but can be so much better
Pros: Z8500 quad with 4 GB ram performs well, with Windows10 Home Will run Linux with effort
Cons: Only certain USB keyboards work prior to boot to enter bios. Battery will not charge and unit overheats. This is a defect in the battery charging circuit. I done what another reviewer did, remove the covers and battery. Now unit runs cool. since the unit is VESA mounted to display. The dock should be part of unit, since unit is useless without it. mini USB useless, no ventilation ports.
Overall Review: I purchase an IView stick with older quad core Z3735F intel and only 2GB memory and 32GB emmc drive. Came with a nifty wireless keybord. Was significantly cheaper and works way better overall than Kangaroo. Nice ideal but no kudos for this unit due to many shortcomings. Have had unit for over year now. Had to modify case to prevent overheating by remove top cover( not easy) Replace with a sturdy fine aluminum mesh using small dabs of JB Weld at 6 location also put heat transfer compound on top of their heat sink metal(steel) and let it mesh into the mesh. Unit still is warm but has never over heated as before. Still looks attractive! A lot of work to make the unit usable.
