Why FM2+

Pros: This MOBO is intended to handle the new APU's coming out later this year. They are the new Kaveri chips which use the new steamroller architecture. They are backward compatible with older FM2 chips like the Richlands and Trinity's. The physical difference is that they have 2 new pins holes in the CPU socket allowing for the newer chips to be used when they come out later this year. According the manufacturer's sites, their current BIOS is used for the Richland Trinity chips, and has to be flashed when upgraded to the Kaveri chips when released.
Cons: Currently the Kaveri chip is not out yet, so unless your planning to upgrade like I am, there is no point to getting one. I cannot really call that a con though as the new chip is reportedly leaps ahead of the Richlands.
Overall Review: Good if you are planning to upgrade when the new Kaveri chips come out.
BSOD @2133 on ASROCK Extreme6 A88x

Pros: When clocked down to 1600, the RAM works just fine on the ASrock 88x extreme 6 with the AMD AK 7850k.
Cons: In the BIOS i set the RAM to 2133 as per specs, and it seemed to boot up just fine. Windows runs for 2 minutes before it BSOD. Processor used is the A10-7850K which does support 2133. In short, this memory is NOT a good match for the ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+ if you want 2133.
Overall Review: Shame on newegg memory finder for claiming the 2133 works on the ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+. Good memory - fail on Neweggs part.
