SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity (100315L )
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity (100315L )

Pros: Powerful: received a 7.7/7.9 in the Windows Experience Index, I can run most all of my games on the highest settings. I'm tempted to get another.. Silent: the fan that cools the card can get fast and noisy if you don't seat the card right, but stays quiet when running properly.

Cons: Shady ratings: I read some of the 1- and 2-egg rated comments, it has made me skeptical of the product but otherwise nothing worth taking eggs away for.

Overall Review: First time I put the card in my machine it was seated incorrectly and would not output audio or video but the fan was spinning at max speed. I shut off the power, removed the card and its power, reconnected both and turned it back on. Afterwards it hasn't given me a problem.

Impulse buy made me cry... T.T

Visiontek Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 (DVI-I, HDMI, VGA), 900356
Visiontek Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 (DVI-I, HDMI, VGA), 900356

Pros: It runs Minecraft on high quality video settings with minimal lag. It can handle Source games like TF2 and Gmod on medium-high video settings but sometimes (rarely) fails to render arms or guns or other things. I can get hours of entertainment outta this thing every night.

Cons: PASSIVE COOLING: this thing doesn't have a fan, only a heatsink. I live in a desert/valley where its about 100 degrees every day. This card gets as hot as 190 during the day and 150 during the night, and I'm pretty sure that is a bad thing. I've had many system crashes because of my lack of cooling. DO NOT BUY if you live in a hot area like I do.

Overall Review: I bought this at BB for about $30 more on an impulse without seeing an out-of-box model. If I knew it didn't have a fan, I wouldn't have got it. It does work however so I didn't return it, I figure it'll be good to use until I find a better, active-cooled card. AMD Phenom II X4 830 Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 6Gb DDR3 RAM 750Gb 7200rpm HDD

A good collection of parts

Pros: Bought one of these back in 2011, it has been Frankenstein-ed for parts. To this day, the CPU, RAM, optical drive, and keyboard are all still fully functioning. It's only just now in early 2016 that the CPU is being considered out-of-date for the newest AAA games. I guess 5 years is a decent lifespan for a refurb machine.

Cons: The HDD was the one thing in this box that bit the dust. It was a major letdown because i lost my school work and didn't have any backups. Lesson learned.
