Pros: It's read any and all dvds and cd's i've thrown at it and done so quietly.

Cons: didnt come with lightscribe, but thats really just a superficial feature for me.

Pros: Backlit and the color can be customized to anything between red and blue. Lots of extra macro buttons for games and other applications. headphone and mic jacks built in. button to toggle the backlighting on and off. media control keys for music movies and volume.

Cons: Some people dont like the palm rest and i can understand why. its plasticy, but thankfully, removable. I've tried it both ways and i actually prefer the palm rest on.

Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Customizable out the wazoo! 2 removable shells depending on what kind of texture you prefer in your hand. dpi indicator can glow ANY color! includes tiny weights you can add to the mouse. tilt wheel! on the fly dpi changing (something i didnt think i would use as much as i do). tracks well on most surfaces, clear glass was the only thing that gave it trouble, but it still registered a bit of movement. the cord is covered in a braided material, a nice surprise!

Cons: unfortunately i bought this mouse in between deals and payed the full $100. if you can get it during a sale when its around $65-75 it's a much better buy. its also designed for righties, sorry lefties D:

Pros: a microsoft product that... works? all kidding aside i'm pretty pleased with WIN 7. i actually like a lot of the default wallpapers, and the customization of the interface. i like most of the aero features, especially snap. a search function thats actually useful! runs all my software and games without a hitch. had one unusual crash a few days after i first installed it, but have had no additional problems. 0 viruses detected since installation, win 7 + AVG for the win!!

Cons: None other than the first mysterious crash and a few small hiccups with things disappearing (the pointer, sometimes the task bar). however this has been very infrequent and always fixed itself after a minute or two.

Pros: a big improvement over my tiny laptop's speakers. I listen to music, play games and watch movies all the time. I keep the volume around half and they sound great, haven't had a need to crank them up beyond that yet. Might not do as well in a really crowded or noisy environment, but i haven't really tested that. a great value for the money.

Cons: none that i can think of

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: LOVE this case. 3 giant blue led fans keeps things quiet and cool. Lots of room inside. The tool less design works great, especially the pci and psu clamps and the removable drive trays. nice big side window lets me see all the guts of my computer. dust covers on ALL air intakes (this is especially nice for me because i have a lot of pets)

Cons: wish there was just a bit more room for cable management. my main complaint is that whenver i try to plug a set of headphones into the front panel ports my computer shut's down, not grounded properly i think. the usb ports right next to the audio work fine, so i think this is more likely a case of user error rather than a defective product.
