Lives up to the hype

SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100362BF4SR
SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100362BF4SR

Pros: Great card, I couldn't be happier. Now I can really enjoy my 2560x1600 monitor. The fan, above 50%, is not that loud. I use a fan profile in afterburner for up to 65% fan speed and I don't notice the fan during gameplay. I really don't see it as being any louder than my other cards, including geforce 290, 560, 670. At 65%, the card never gets to 95c. I am using the latest beta drivers and have seen no bsods or anything unstable about the graphics.

Cons: I could not get the card to install correctly in windows 7 but had no trouble with windows 8. On the other hand, windows 8 reminds me of vista, its a piece of !@#.

Overall Review: Great card, great price, can't ask for more. Hard to believe that AMD has gotten me away from nvdia but that's what happens when you deliver a good product.

Love it!

Pros: Great deal. Installed no problems. Working great with my 670 and 560 combo.

Cons: None so far.

System rocks!

Pros: System was what I had hoped it to be. Components, except the video card, was of good quality.

Cons: Video card was bad and will have to be sent back.

Overall Review: For the price, it was worth the buy even with the bad video card.
