I actually own this

Intel NUC Skull Canyon NUC6i7KYK Kit with 6th Gen. Intel Core i7 Processor, M.2 SSD Compatible, Dual DDR4 Memory Max 32GB with Intel Iris Pro Graphics, Thunderbolt 3, No OS, Windows 10 Compatible
Intel NUC Skull Canyon NUC6i7KYK Kit with 6th Gen. Intel Core i7 Processor, M.2 SSD Compatible, Dual DDR4 Memory Max 32GB with Intel Iris Pro Graphics, Thunderbolt 3, No OS, Windows 10 Compatible

Pros: Feels faster than my newish high spec MacBook Pro. Had it built and running in under 5 mins. Happy with it so far. Managed 40fps on BF3 at default settings.

Cons: Runs pretty hot compared to other NUCs, make sure you ventilate.

Overall Review: Thanks to Newegg for delivering same day... Very impressed!

Dead on arrival, newegg don't handle returns

Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows
Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows

Pros: Box is nice and green. It arrived same day.

Cons: Didn't work on arrival. It happens. I tried on multiple computers, I went through Microsoft's troubleshooting steps. Dead. But this is where things get bad: NewEgg have a manufacturer-only returns policy on this particular device. Microsoft's website is a bit of a nightmare and they say there is no replacement available for the device.

Overall Review: newegg, I'm a loyal customer but you need to reconsider this manufacturer-only policy - it's bad business and is reputation damaging. It measures up terribly to the likes of other online retailers and basically any B&M store. Other countries, for example the UK, have statutory returns policies for every online company. It's because of policies like yours that these laws came about. Stand by the things you sell.

I wanted to love this

Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) BOXNUC6I5SYH Aluminum and Plastic Mini / Booksize Barebone System
Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) BOXNUC6I5SYH Aluminum and Plastic Mini / Booksize Barebone System

Pros: - Compact size, and it packs a punch - Ran year-old-games with zero issues - Served well as a workstation for illustrator and development

Cons: - Endless driver issues - Three clean installs of Windows and each had horrible driver issues. First my networking failed, then search failed, then "System and compressed memory" ran away with my CPU and sat using a whole core all the time.

Overall Review: No. It's not ready for prime time and that makes me immensely sad. On paper this is the perfect PC for me, but I bought a compact unit specifically because I didn't want to waste time fiddling with hardware. Now I've wasted night after night fiddling with software instead.
