Buy once-Cry once

Pros: -Deep, rich color pallet -As advertised refresh rate -Highly adjustable settings -Cool aesthetics
Cons: -A little on the heavier side -Screen radiates heat after prolonged use (but what can you expect)
Overall Review: This monitor is everything it promises to be! It is an incredible piece of equipment and you will need one heck of a rig to ever touch the limits of what it's capable of. I play a multitude of titles and my current rig is running a 5600x and a 3070ti. The only title I can get to come even remotely close to 240fps @ 4k resolution max settings is War Thunder and let me tell you it is an absolute treat for the eyes. This monitor will make your games feel cinematic. Given my rig, I run most games at 1440p in order to net the full 240hz capability, but it still looks excellent all around. If you have the money, and you're in the market for a quality monitor, the Odyssey G8 is an extremely strong recommendation. After having and using this monitor for about a month and a half, I can tell you I don't even slightly regret my purchase. 10/10
XFX Supremacy

Pros: Excellent performance to price ratio Easy to clean with the removable fans Runs under extreme 4k load very cool even with OC Lightning fast frame times (sub 5ms in most instances) Aesthetic and cool factor
Cons: Extreme Ray-tracing is an Achilles heel It's a power hog (~450W under load)
Overall Review: I purchased this card to pair with the new 9800X3D as it seemed to be the best value over the scalped prices Nvidia is shilling. Let me tell you now, the money saved over the 4090 or even 5090 vs the performance value I got is nothing short of amazing. Well worth the $1k saved to turn down RT to Med or even High. Plus FSR totally works if you just HAVE to have all the eye candy though you still get excellent performance without it which I personally prefer. For this architecture to have been developed and released at the same time as the 3090ti and be comparable to the 4080s is impressive to say the least. Peak temperatures rendering native 4k with all settings epic on RDR2 minus AA being x4 and global illumination being High, I clock around 180FPS with the OC and run at a temperature of no more than 63-65 degrees celcius. About 72 degrees on the Hotspot. In short, if you want to build a high performance 4k machine and not pay an exorbitant price, you simply cannot beat the value this card/architecture presents.
