Pros: Sound great. Good price w/ the rebate. Decent cord length on the rear speakers. Good enough for setting up around a desk. Like that the center speaker can hang off the top of my LCD monitor instead of making space in front of the monitor.

Cons: This is probably more of a con for my motherboard (Asus M2N-E) on-board sound than the speaker system--does not properly detect the speaker configuration. Always says that one or more jack are not connected or configured wrong. However, when running the sound test utility, everything works properly.

Overall Review: Too bad I didn't wait a couple of days. Found the same thing in the local paper for the same price as with the rebate and w/o the shipping. Newegg is still the first place I look for all my computer parts.

Pros: Not bad design. Had no problems physically attaching anything. Using AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Brisbane with Cosair XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) memory running WinXP Home.

Cons: Had problems installing drivers after re-installing WinXP, especially the Realtek audio drivers. Had to update WinXP to SP3 before the Realtek driver would properly install. The manual is very sparse in information.

Overall Review: Only gave 3 stars because of the driver installation issue. It took me several hour and much researching on the internet to find a solution. The problem with the Realtek drivers seems to be a common issue. I recommend updating to SP3 before installing any of the drivers.

Cons: Cannot adjust the memory timing for this board. BIOS set the values to 5-5-5-15 when should be 4-4-4-12. It appears changing memory timing is not an option for this board, but you can adjust the voltage. If you need to adjust memory settings other than voltage, I do not recommend this board.

Overall Review: Running stable on default BIOS settings, but wish it could be better.
