Fast Gaming Laptop
Overall Review: This laptop is very fast and responsive. Multicore CPU and SSD means the machine boots up quickly, launches and loads games faster than anyone else you're playing with! I got this laptop to play video games while I travel on the holidays and so far it's done very well at that. The computer came with Windows 10 installed, but immediately offered to upgrade me to Windows 11 so I went with it. Oh and I love that there's a button to disable the track pad - that is very helpful for playing fast-paced games when you have big clumsy hands like me. I normally don't like to buy pre-built computers because they often come with annoying bloatware, but my experience hasn't been too bad so far. I've just uninstalled anything that's popped up that I don't want.
Passable at best
Pros: I use this tablet just for reading pdfs/ docs and browsing the web and the size and weight are ideal for reading. The battery life is pretty good. It's cheap.
Cons: The Koral tablet is slow and prone to freezing. The initial set-up was very slow despite logging into my Google account and letting it connect. Wi-fi randomly disconnects even if you set the connection to not metered. USB cable transfers are not reliable as the tablet will just disappear from Windows, so you have to unplug, reboot the tablet, then plug it back in. I find myself having to reboot the device at least once every time I use it because it will abruptly freeze. It will report that a download has completed, I'll check the download folder and either nothing will be there or a 0 kb file is there that has to be deleted and the download restarted. It loads web pages slowly, even simple websites like the Google homepage or a plain text document in Google Docs. It loads local files slowly too, the thumbnails for my pdfs take a while to populate in folder view. It's annoying to use for reading large documents or pdfs because you might scroll through to find a page and the pages load slowly, so you have to wait for the page to appear and then scroll up or down and then wait some more for the next few pages to load. It's really slow and unreliable.
Overall Review: I guess you get what you pay for, as this tablet was pretty cheap compared to the others I was reading about. I'd say look elsewhere though because even though it doesn't cost much money you'll wear out your patience trying to use it on even basic tasks.
Sleek, minimalist keyboard
Pros: The finish is nice and attractive and the glow effect is cool and can be adjusted or turned off.
Cons: I personally feel that the keys have a little too much spring or resistance to them, but this keyboard was a gift to my girlfriend and she says that they keys are fine.
Overall Review: It's a fine keyboard that goes well on a cluttered desk struggling for real estate or just for anyone who wants a modern, sleek or minimalist computer set up. The cord connecting the keyboard to the PC is a little short, there are no media buttons nor a numpad, but I think the product description makes that clear.
