Good Camera
Pros: I primarily bought this camera for it's movie recording capabilities, and was surprised by the quality of the pictures it takes also. It's small enough to carry easily in anything, I bought this when my Kodak M713 IS decided to no longer function after 2 years and didn't want to pay a high price for a new one. It has multiple picture presets which I really like. It has multiple ways to charge the battery via 5v adaper, usb, usb ac adapter and I can even use my Kodak K7600 charger for on the go charging. The camera is quick, I took a shot of my Rosewill fan running at around 1500 rpm and it stopped it dead. I then thought to push it even more so I turned my sapphire 4870 oc fan to 100% and at a little over 4200 rpms the camera still stopped the fan without and motion blur. I don't get to play with the camera too much, my daughter seems to need it all the time, I generally get it back when it's time to recharge the battery.
Cons: Doesn't come with a/v cables to hook directly to a tv. I'm not a big fan of Quicktime movie format it pretty much bloats the a/v files. a 22 min 640x480 hd movie takes up almost 900 meg on the card but divx converter compressed it to 137 meg avi file.
Overall Review: If you plan on taking movies and pictures it would be a good idea to have at least a 4gig or higher memory card. Kodak site shows memory cards up to 16 gigs don't have a 32gig memory card to test it. So if your looking for a low buget good quality camera then this may be the thing for you.
Not worth it
Pros: none.
Cons: A pain to get on. not able to charge from nyko charger (N82E16878112023) after cutting small square from charge pads. when trying to remove to put normal aa batteries in the remote, it ripped on the front.
Overall Review: not as slip resistant as nintendo's covers are
Nice charger
Pros: works fine thus far. batteries charge quickly. (the more remotes you charge at once the longer it takes)
Cons: -
Overall Review: happy with this purchase
Good fan
Pros: Cool looking fan, Nice and bright color. I have red and blue sets for my computer, so since it's Christmas I thought I'd get green lights and have red, green and blue in my case for the holidays, going green after.
Cons: not as specified. 1500 +/- 10% RPM 57.67 CFM 24.7 dBA
Overall Review: Not as much airflow as my Rosewill fans, but Rosewill doesn't seem to like green fans.
Caution!
Pros: none
Cons: As my previous post this is the first cold cathode I've had. it lasted about 5-6 hours on time before 1/2 the tube dimed out. I found led strip lighting from another web site that will replace this.
Overall Review: Perhaps Logisys should test these tubes for 24-48 hours solid before packaging. will be able to catch more defective tubes that way. At $5 no loss really, RMA would cost way more than it's worth.
Number 1 Case
Pros: This is a rock solid case. built to last! This is the first case I've bought to do a custom build (got tired or the restrictions HP gives in expansion) and am very happy with it, more bays than I'll ever need or use.
Cons: Not a Thermaltake problem really but the top 1384 connector is all single pins due to motherboard manufactures non standard way of doing their motherboards, at first I had a ASUS P5E-VM HDMI LGA 775 Intel G35 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard that came with quick connects that worked nicely, but the SAPPHIRE TOXIC Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready blocked 3 sata ports so I got a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard that didnt have quick connects, I have never used 1384 ports so no big deal.
Overall Review: The side fan is a major plus, it helps keep my vga, cpu, mem cards cooler. having the hard drive bay in the back so that cool air gets to them is really nice, I've always had problems with WD drives running hot all the time, not any more! Thanks Thermaltake for a great case!
