Good Budget Case
Pros: This case felt fairly solid for $30. It has good front IO and plenty of space for everything I needed. Small enough to move around easily. Enough space to cable manage everything that I put in as well, including a non-modular PSU.
Cons: -HDD LED is connected to reset button for some reason. -PCI slots are punched into the back panel, only one replaceable cover if you remove your card later. -Case smudges easily -Pre-installed fans are molex only -One of the MOBO standoffs did not fit with my ASRock mATX (not sure if that what on the case or ASRock, it still worked fine though) -Perforated side panel on both sides is strange, since there is no space to put anything behind the motherboard anyway
Overall Review: Overall the case is nothing special, but it does seem to be a very decent option considering the price. Although I feel like I listed a lot of cons, most of them were quite minor and did not really detract from the case overall.
ASUS PB Series PB278Q 27"
Pros: Nice build quality, nice stand, plenty of inputs, lots of included cables, ASUS rapid replacement, nice screen.
Cons: My first monitor arrived from Newegg with bruises on the screen from shipping (I assume). Newegg took it back relatively pain free, however I had to wait 2 weeks shipping back and forth to get my new monitor (ASUS rapid replacement is not applicable until 30+ days after the purchase). My second monitor has no shipping damage, however it has a dead pixel on the top left. It doesn't seem that either ASUS or Newegg will replace for only one dead pixel, so I end up with a $400 monitor with a dead pixel that took 2.5-3 weeks in shipping to get. Overall not too satisfied, although hopefully my experience was just bad luck.
Overall Review: Careful about damage and dead pixels. Be sure you know ASUS does not begin their warranty or rapid replacement until 30 days after purchase. I know I would recommend this panel if it has come defect free, however as things are I am unsure whether it it worth it.
