Fast and Stable

Pros: Low timings, heat spreaders, stability
Cons: all high-end memory is really expensive
Overall Review: I'm using these on an asus p4p800-e deluxe with p4 3.4E. They are sepc'd to run at 2.75 volts with the low timing settings, but are unstable on this board at that voltage; runs at 2.65 volts fine.
It works

Pros: Use this little guy to try and save data on an old dying drive.
Cons: No power adapter for 2.5" drives. Impossible to use with a slim cd-rom.
Good case for Media PC

Pros: Good looking, everything fits well, and 3.5 floppy space can be used for a internal hard drive.
Cons: Noisey power supply and poor instruction manual. I'm eventualy gonna replace the power supply with a silent one.
Overall Review: I bought this item from a different supplier, but they no longer have this item. So I thought I'd write a review here. Be careful when installing a 5.25 CD/DVD-ROM, I pinched and ruined a IDE ribbon cable with the drive (use round cables). This made me a little worried at first that the hard drive was defective. I would suggest using a slim DVD-ROM with a bracket and adapter. ASUS Motherboard (I forget which model) PIII 1.0Ghz/133Mhz/256KB Diamond Max 300GB Western Digital 160GB LITE-ON DVD-ROM 640MB PC133
Good value

Pros: 16MB cache Quiet
Cons: ?
Overall Review: I used this guy to replace a dead 5GB travelstar from an Acer 332T and it definitly works. I don't now about speed since I inherited the laptop dead, but I bet it's faster than the stock 512KB, 4400RPM. I have not had any overheating issues.
Best AV/IS out there

Pros: Has all the internet security in one lower-than-normal priced package. Can scheldule many scan tasks. Just as with any active or real time scanning AV, this software is a bit of a resource hog, but not as much as SNorten.
Cons: Nada
Overall Review: I have 6 serial numbers that I purchased since being introduced, I was getting very frustrated with my currect AV (the big name) causing problems and getting corrupted.
The Little Drive that could

Pros: Cheap Fast
Cons: A Maxtor, who knows when it'll give up the ghost.
Overall Review: This is the second Maxtor I've purchased new (the other being a 120GB old one-touch) and I have one original in a Dell. Most people have Maxproblems with this manufacture, I'm knocking on wood right after I type this).
