Most Favorable Review

I'm impressed

Hitachi GST 640GB USB 2.0 3.5" External Hard Drive H3640U Black
Hitachi GST 640GB USB 2.0 3.5" External Hard Drive H3640U Black

Pros: Huge amount of storage. This is, to date, the largest drive I've ever owned. Great price & free shipping too. It was just too much temptation to turn down at this price. I've never owned a Hitachi hard drive before, but so far, I'm very pleased. I bought it to store my YouTube video drops. (I post comedy rants on YouTube... and sometimes even some educational things). So far, I am totally blown away by this drive. Thumbs up NewEgg. Oh, and I really like the swirling red lights on the front to let you know the drive is active. Cool to watch.

Cons: I can't think of a one... and I always have a complaint about something.

Overall Review: Do yourself a favor if you buy one of these. It does get a little warm because the case is plastic, and even though there is venting at each end of the case, the bottom part of the case cannot breathe because it sits flat on the desk. So buy a package of those little, self-adhesive, rubber feet and slap them on the bottom. The drive runs much cooler if you do this because it can now get flow-thru ventilation for the internal drive. That is my only suggestion.

Update after update!

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition With SP2
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition With SP2

Pros: Well, it's better than 98... but that ain't saying a whole lot.

Cons: Still has lots of Microsoft glitches. And I just bought this and installed it, and right off, I have to do 54 updates ?? We need a software lemon law like they have with cars.

Overall Review: I hope somebody comes out with an O/S that will run EVERYTHING that needs Windows to work. (That is, and O/S that actually works all the time). And does Microsoft REALLY ever read all those error reports I send to them?

TeamGroup products always work as they should.

Team C171 64GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive TC17164GB01
Team C171 64GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive TC17164GB01

Pros: They work flawlessly. I bought several and have had no issues at all.

Overall Review: TeamGroup makes very dependable products. Most of my SSD's are TeamGroup. The only SSD that ever went bad on me, was a Samsung EVO. These TeamGroup products are really dependable.

Really helped out an old back-up PC

A-Tech 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz DIMM PC2-6400 UDIMM Non-ECC 1.8V CL6 240-Pin Desktop Computer RAM Memory Upgrade Kit
A-Tech 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz DIMM PC2-6400 UDIMM Non-ECC 1.8V CL6 240-Pin Desktop Computer RAM Memory Upgrade Kit

Pros: Easy to install. Took a few minutes, checked in BIOS and there they were.

Cons: No cons here. They work great.

Overall Review: I was thinking about getting more memory, and considered Cramazon on the purchase, but so many times, they let me down. Newegg always rocked for me, so here I am. Bought them. Price was fair, shipping was really fast too, and they work like a charm. (And Cramazon didn't get my business). I'm typing this on the upgraded computer. WORKS GREAT!

So far, working great

Team Group CX2 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) T253X6512G0C101
Team Group CX2 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) T253X6512G0C101

Pros: Easy to install. I'm using it in an external case for storage. This SSD works very well. I've heard good things about Team Group drives. So far, I'm impressed.

Cons: None that I have stumbled on yet.

Overall Review: I'll buy another when they go back on sale. Great drive for a great price.

My 3rd Samsung SSD. They are making them right.

SAMSUNG 870 EVO Series 2.5" 500GB SATA III V-NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-77E500B/AM
SAMSUNG 870 EVO Series 2.5" 500GB SATA III V-NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-77E500B/AM

Pros: No moving parts. LOL

Overall Review: This is the 3rd Samsung SSD I've purchased. I can't say I notice much speed improvement, (my PC is really old), but I left it running 24/7 while I was away for over 2 months, so I could log in from elsewhere. It was always up, running, and ready for my login. I can't argue with that. 5 STARS.
