ASUS AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router, AiProtection Lifetime Security by Trend Micro, Adaptive QoS, Parental Control
ASUS AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router, AiProtection Lifetime Security by Trend Micro, Adaptive QoS, Parental Control

Pros: This was router was so easy to set up and update my wife did it before I got home from work. My internet went from 75 down 10 up to 175 down 22 up. The reason being was the down scale from my very old router. My old router had a gigabit LAN but the WAN like most old routers was 10/100. Thus, I did not get what I paid for in internet. There are zero disconnect issues. I have new phones that stream television. Prior to this router that was lag and catch up time. Now it has speed to spare. It is nice how you can name all three of your wireless streams separately. They all show up separately on your computer, phones, and etc. You simply pick the stream you want to connect to. In years past, I remember doing extensive reading to figure out settings and logistics or routers. This web based log in is more than impressive. It is well laid out and easy to understand. There are tools that you wouldn't have thought of that are great. You can show the upload and download use of all devices and see who the data hogs are. You really feel like you are in command of your network when you log into the router. Range: When I parked in front of my house I used to connect to my router as I walked up the walkway with my phone. With this router as I drive down my street my phone connects before I even get home. The range is beyond anything I have ever experienced.

Cons: This was the most I have ever paid for a router by far.

Overall Review: If you Comcast you probably got a free doubling of your internet speed at some point. Your current modem probably does not support the newer speed. You will need a new modem to go along with the router to get the new speeds above 100 meg download. The range is so far that the devices you are using are now the weakest links. The router will always reach farther than the devices return capabilities. Thus, you can connect down the block but not necessarily return a signal if your laptop or phone has a tiny built in antenna. If you want to connect to this from a great distance a good external return antenna is needed. Basically, you cannot return cannon fire with a spit ball.

Poor Quality

RAZER Vespula Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mat
RAZER Vespula Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mat

Pros: This is the only full size mouse pad with wrist support that I have found. The material makes for fast game play. The mat is large so that you do not have to worry about scrolling off the mat.

Cons: The glue used to keep the mat together is terrible. After a month or two it peals apart and rolls up making the mat unusable. The mat itself breaks down from cleaning and leaves black spots where the material breaks away. As a result you get jumps in your mouse play. You will have to replace this mouse pad every two months if you like it and want to continue to use it.

Overall Review: There is not much of an alternative on the market currently that I have found.

Worked great for 3 months.

MINI DISPLAYPORT HDMI ADAPTER
MINI DISPLAYPORT HDMI ADAPTER

Pros: High quality. Clean output. Long cable that is thick.

Cons: Very light weight. Seems cheap. Ended up being cheap when it died after 3 months and would not display anything. For a week or two I reinserted the plug to get it to work. After a couple weeks it quit. Replaced it with another cheaper cable and was back in business. I tried it on another computer to make sure and it still did not work.

EDUP EP-N8531 150Mbps USB Wifi Wireless Nano Adapter, Mini Standard IEEE 802.11n Card
EDUP EP-N8531 150Mbps USB Wifi Wireless Nano Adapter, Mini Standard IEEE 802.11n Card

Pros: They are cheap and easy to use.

Cons: There are disconnects under large loads. The range is not good. Getting an internet signal usually involves pulling it in and out several times and rebooting. It connects to the WIFI but keeps the exclamation saying limited with no internet.

Overall Review: For the price you pay you get the value.

830-850

SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E250B/AM
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E250B/AM

Pros: I upgrade my Asus g750 laptop from an 830 to an 850. It was a noticeable speed upgrade. If you sneeze and look at the clock you will miss the boot up with windows 8.1. At this point any more speed would be fractions of a second. Going from one ssd and one mechanical to two ssds increased the battery time by another half hour or more.

Cons: None

Overall Review: With multiple SSDs it seems motherboards don't always know which drive to boot from. In a mechanical drive array the boards searched for one with a bootable operating system. In the case of multiple SSDs I had to specify which to boot from. Otherwise the boards would boot from whichever was installed first or prompt for you to pick.

ASUS 27" 1440P Eye Care Monitor (PB278Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI

Pros: Frame rates and ghosting are not an issue if you play World of Warcraft. The extra resolution gives you playing space for raiding that you can only dream of. With a gtx660 the frames are always over 100.

Cons: Price

Never Received

I purchased an item and never received it. The original shipping number never worked. The JM group responded with an email in broken english saying I was wrong. I never heard from them again. Only newegg responded to my emails. Newegg customer support emailed them and asked them to get back to me. The seller decided not to respond. I would still like the item, but I am shocked and not sure what to do to get the item.

China but Good

This company has cheap but well made goods. The draw back is that the shipping is from China and takes a looooong time. I recommend them over the other Chinese sellers I have dealt with.

Long Shipping and Bad Packaging

This is shipped from China and takes two weeks or more to receive. The package is in a simple envelope that can easily damage the item during shipping.
