Excellent all-around recorder

Pros: Small size fits in the tiny space I have available. Easy to use, great recording quality. Perfect for a mid-priced recorder. Set up took a couple of minutes. Program recording works just like any VCR. Supports every disc format so I can use all the misc DVD blanks I have laying around. Not complaints. I'd recommend this model to others.
Cons: Remote needs to be back-lit. Key layout is random so the buttons you use together aren't grouped together in some cases. Most DVD-Recorder remotes have that same issue, this is certainly no worse than others I've used or owned.
Overall Review: I don't think it supports ClearQAM, which doesn't matter to me now but I expect it will be important down the road.
Not working yet, but I'm hopeful

Pros: Once I have it working it should be awesome. Great layout sand size. Everything is easy to reach
Cons: First one was DOA. New one doesn't POST. I read another review that says it doesn't support Wolfdale until the BIOS is updated, so I ordered an older Core2 CPU to try that.
Overall Review: Really annoying that this comes with the power supply set to 220v even though they are shipping in the US. They won't work until yu cange that setting on the power supply. Glad I didn't fry my CPU...
disappointing battery

Pros: Beautiful hardware, responsive screen, excellent app store
Cons: horrible battery life, doesn't multi-task non-apple applications
Overall Review: The covers that have an extended battery would help, but they reduce the signal strength and make the phone unusable... I just cant recommend this
Could get it to pair

Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Never got it to pair. Instructions were no help, and the website for syba and connectland provide nothing helpful. Unable to download .pdf from their website. What's the secret to pairing. I have lots of Bluetooth mice, so I've tested everything. I'd assume this is defective but I'm never shure its in a pairing mode. I hope someone can tell me the secret...
Fantastic display. Buy this

Pros: Gorgeous display. The glossy screen somehow doesn't cause glare in my brightly lit office. Playing HD content on it through my PC Tuner card is unbelievable. Best part is the base. It swivels, tilts and has height adjustment. Most other don't have height adjustment. With a display this big, you will find yourself adjusting it up and down as you sit up and slouch in your chair. I wouldn't buy anything that doesn't have height adjustment. It also adjusts brightness to ambient lighting which is really nice.
Cons: A web cam would be cool, but that's not something I'd trade for the great stand and great picture.
Overall Review: Lots of discussion on 16:9 Vs 16:10. Personally I prefer 16:10 because I use it more as a computer monitor than as a TV. When showing HD video, thre is a black bar (only 60 pixels) on the top and bottom but you won't notice them becasue they are the same glossy black as the bezel. You wouldn't know it if I hadn't just told you. The extra pixels for computer work are well worth it. I love this display!
Terrific, if you do your homework first!

Pros: Before you buy this, check the supported CPU list on the ASUS site. Once you have it running, it is silent and sweet. Nice that it has a firewire port, too. Get the Q6600 and you will be fine. You don't need a fan for the CPU, because this has one built in.
Cons: It doesn't support all of the Core2Duo CPUs equally. It definitely doesn't support Wolfdale E8500/E8400, for example. The Power Supply is set to 220v, so you have to switch that or it won't boot up. Disappointing that ASUS and this site offer something that isn't going to work unless you know what you are doing. I'll bet they get a lot back DOA that aren't really bad, just have the power supply set to 220 by default. That's silly.
Overall Review: Once you have it running, it is silent and sweet. Really nice engineering, I'm especially fond of the way the drive case/power supply swing out of the way on hinges making it easy to work inside...
