Amazing so far!!!!!

LG 34UC79G-B 34" 21:9 UltraWide IPS Curved Gaming Monitor 2560 x 1080 Resolution, AMD FreeSync, 144 Hz Refresh Rate, Dynamic Action Sync & Black Stabilize, DisplayPort/HDMI/USB 3.0
LG 34UC79G-B 34" 21:9 UltraWide IPS Curved Gaming Monitor 2560 x 1080 Resolution, AMD FreeSync, 144 Hz Refresh Rate, Dynamic Action Sync & Black Stabilize, DisplayPort/HDMI/USB 3.0

Pros: - Wow, I never thought it could ever be this good. The ultra-wide goodness is PERFECT for immersion in games! Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Forza Horizon 3 natively support the 21:9 aspect ratio, and they look better for it. - Productivity is also amazing on this monitor, now I have enough space to have 2 or 3 windows open and work on them simultaneously. For editing, it's fantastic since you can see more of the timelines. - The color reproduction and viewing angles are great! Whites are perfectly white and not a yellowish off-white that TN panels get. As far as blacks go, they don't seem to be too deep, but I'm not a snob about it as it really doesn't matter too much when gaming, unless you're playing a dark game. - 144hz refresh rate on an IPS panel is what I have been waiting for a long time and it's worth it! Games are just as smooth as my previous Asus VG248QE - The monitor setting interface controls are REALLY easy to use

Cons: - The 1ms option lowers screen brightness and contrast, so I don't really tend to use it. Also, I've heard the technology increases input lag, but I don't know if it's noticeable. - Not a con of the actual product but, not all games, videos and movies support the 21:9 aspect ratio.

Overall Review: I'm fairly sure that Blu-Ray movies will play in the 21:9 aspect ratio since they are shot like that. However, I haven't run into a Netflix movie/show that supports it. There are many workarounds for games to support 21:9, with dark souls 3 you need to make a simple hex edit and small adjustment to the graphics config .ini file. There's also the program called Flawless Widescreen that helps older games and recent games run at 21:9 - Update: BIOS are confirmed to work when this is the only display connected to the PC.

Most Critical Review
TITAN TTC-NF01TZ/BB USB Fan, Alumin. Base w/Speed Control
TITAN TTC-NF01TZ/BB USB Fan, Alumin. Base w/Speed Control

Pros: Looks great, decent airflow.

Cons: It either has no fan speed control or I couldn't find it, and I'm an I.T. hardware tech. Expected more for the size in terms of airflow Way overpriced. Should be at least $15 Usb Cord is short

So far, FANTASTIC!

ASUS Vivobook S 15.6" 3K OLED Copilot+ PC AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 32GB Memory 1TB SSD AMD Radeon 890M Windows 11 Home
ASUS Vivobook S 15.6" 3K OLED Copilot+ PC AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 32GB Memory 1TB SSD AMD Radeon 890M Windows 11 Home

Pros: - Thin and light, at about 3lbs - Solid feeling construction. I feel no flex when resting my wrists on the laptop to write this review. - all day battery. I can use this laptop for emails, watching videos and browsing at about 20 - 30% brightness and the standard power setting in the My Asus app, and that will last me about 9 - 11 hours depending on the usage and applications. - Plenty of memory for the average user at 32GB. (For any gamers out there, by default, the VRAM is allocated dynamically depending on the application. Unfortunately though, you can only max out at 8GB for the VRam. I wish it was at least up to 12GB. - Screen looks amazing! If you don't mind the glossy glare. ( I don't)

Cons: - Can only allocate 8GB Vram for GPU - quite a bit of bloatware - RAM is not upgradable (it's soldered, a limitation of Ryzen Ai 300) - 2TB max capacity storage

Overall Review: The main things that I've been looking for are an all day battery life, and the capability to do some light gaming...and oh boy, that's exactly what I got. I was mostly excited for the battery life and the thin form factor. I came from a 7lb, 17 inch laptop. It barely could last me an hour and a half, even on a low power setting. It was mostly a desktop replacement so it made sense. But it was too heavy to travel with or even work with. By contrast, this laptop is a joy to use and work with. No longer do I have to worry about battery life, I can use this puppy for approximately 10 - 11 hours. Compared to what I came from, that's huge freedom!

A gaming beast!

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Ryzen 7 5000 Series 8-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM4 105W None Integrated Graphics Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000651WOF
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Ryzen 7 5000 Series 8-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM4 105W None Integrated Graphics Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000651WOF

Pros: HUGE FPS gains in many games. - Far Cry 6 from an average of 115FPS to about and over 144FPS (FPS was locked but remained steady at 144/143FPS) - Shadow of the Tomb Raider went from 120FPS to 210FPS (benchmark results) - Time spy CPU score went from 7402 to 11,593

Cons: -Runs hotter than it's non 3D counterpart, and temps jump quickly to 55C and 65C when opening apps. - Only using 6 cores despite my BIOS being updated to the latest with AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.6b which is required to run the 5800x 3D. (Fixed) - Had to buy a new cooler since the Gamerstorm Captain EX 240 AIO isn't enough to cool this thing. It quickly jumps to 65C when just opening apps or watching videos.

Overall Review: The 6-core usage issue wasn't the fault of the processor or the motherboard. I don't know what caused it, but to fix it, I merely installed the X570 chipset driver and that seemed to fix the issue. If you have a similar problem, try re-installing your chipset driver.

Great motherboard, BIOS Overclocking need work though.

Pros: - UPDATE: With the latest Beta BIOS VH61 I was able to overclock to 4.0GHz effortlessly in the BIOS and it remains stable! - Great aesthetics - Stable with 4.0GHz CPU overclock (Ryzen 5 1600x) and 3000MHz memory AXMP Profile 1 (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W) However, CPU overclock not done in BIOS. (See cons)

Cons: - Annoying, always on red LED - The BIOS overclocking needs work. Despite all my research and how simple it seemed to overclock, I could not get my CPU to 4.0GHz; in fact, it would down clock to 2.1GHz whenever I would try a 4.0GHz overclock. I instead tried the AMD's Ryzen Master Software to overclock and it was so easy and simple. It got me to a 4.0GHz overclock with ease, without having to adjust any voltages and was very stable. No crashes whatsoever. - AXMP Memory profile 2 does not work for me. I cannot get my RAM to run the advertised OC of 3200MHz (RAM model number in pro section)

Overall Review: It's a great and stable motherboard, but not without its faults. BIOS overclocking needs a major overhaul, but at least the interface is easy to navigate. Alternatively, you can try the Ryzen Master Software to overclock if BIOS overclocking doesn't work for you. Also try downloading the latest beta BIOS. Also I found out that my RAM kit has Hynix chips and not Samsung chips like I thought. That's why I'm having OC issues

Double the performance of a 780Ti!

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition GAMING, 11G-P4-6393-KR, 11GB GDDR5X, iCX Cooler & LED

Pros: - Incredibly cool! Had it running the Unigen Heaven Benchmark and I never saw it go over 66C and it was able to boost to 1936MHz!! It idles around the low 30s and that's without the fans spinning. They start to spin at around 60C I think...but don't quote me. - 19,841 Firestrike Score - 8,827 Time Spy Score -4013 Unigen Heaven benchmark score with 4x AA, Extreme Tesselation, 159.3 average FPS,and Ultra textures -All benchmarks at 1080p -Performs like a beast! - My GPU performance is 2x that of my 780Ti, and in some cases more! So glad I upgraded! Can't wait to finally max out more recent games and try out so 4k texture mods in Skyrim.

Cons: NONE
