Slick AIO!
Pros: Keeps CPU (i9-9900k / O.C. @ 5.0 Ghz) temp around 30-32° C at idle and between 50-51° C under load.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly recommend!
Great RAM!
Pros: XMP profile clocked to advertised speed flawlessly. Great diffused RGB as usual for G. Skill Trident Z.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I will be purchasing another kit to bring my grandson's rig up to 32gb.
Definitely solid for storage.
Pros: Great overall experience with this drive. I get 561 MB/s sequential read & 522 MB/s write speeds across the board for all 3 of these that I own. Not shabby at all.
Cons: None, so far.
Overall Review: I own 3 of these drives now and can honestly say that they are a solid choice for storage. I have yet to use one as a boot drive. I prefer M.2 NVMe for boot duties. I will be purchasing a couple more in the near future for upcoming Christmas builds for my Grandson & Mother-In-Law. I will use those T-Force Vulcan drives for booting both new systems and report my findings. I have been partial to Samsung's SSD drives for quite a while but Team Group is starting to win me over!
Excellent thermal paste from Noctua.
Pros: Dropped my wife's temperature on her 9900k by 3-4°C. She was idling at 35-36°C with stock paste on her NZXT Kraken X63. Now 31-32°C after NT-H2 application. Haven't checked what loaded temps look like yet. I have her locked down at 4.8GHz on all cores at the moment. I want to OC her to 5GHz and benchmark to compare with my 9900k system that will also have some Noctua paste applied to replace my Deepcool Castle 360EX stock paste. I will update after benchmarks are complete.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: Works great and not terribly expensive considering the quantity that you receive. If you have multiple Threadripper systems to repaste, you may want to buy a couple of tubes.
Excellent performer as usual.
Pros: Purchased this drive for my wife's rig and it does not disappoint. I had previously purchased one for my Asus G752VL about a year ago from the blue and yellow building. Immediately impressed with its performance. Once we started our dual system build in the Phanteks 719, I move mine into the ATX build and purchased another for the mini ITX build. Super fast and reliable. Would definitely purchase again.
Cons: None really except it's a little on the pricey side but well worth the beans.
Overall Review: If you want speed and reliability and don't mind spending a little extra for the quality packed inside this stick of gum sized drive, pull the trigger and buy it. You can thank me later.
Excellent!
Pros: Pairs well with my i9-9900k and my Z390 Aorus Master MoBo.
Cons: None
Overall Review: So far I have it clocked to 3700 Mhz and same timings from out of the box installation with no issues. I will be attempting slightly higher OC with tighter timings in the near future but for now, I'm satisfied.
4gb 2 X 2gb Pc2-5300u RAM for Optiplex 330 upgrade.
Original order arrived on time but produced 1 bad DIMM so I contacted StarMicro via email. The next day I had a return label in my inbox, postage paid. When they received the defective DIMM, they set up delivery of a fresh one, same day! Of course USPS from California to Louisiana took a few days but was tracked from there to here and arrived on time. The fresh DIMM worked flawlessly! I was able to finish the upgrade on one of my friends old Optiplex 330 today. They are really excited! Thank you, StarMicro! Outstanding service and great communication. Excellent seller. I highly recommend!
