Pros: I just received the Seagate ST9120821A today, and I was also interested if Seagate would honor their 5 year warrany on OEM drives. When I opened up the package, the label on the drive said: "This drive is manufactured by Seagate for OEM distribution. For product information or technical support, please contact your system OEM" Then I surfed in to Seagate's website, where you can check the warrany on your product, and entered the SN# and Model #. "This drive is covered by a Seagate warranty. Expiration 15-Nov-2011". So 5 years minus a couple of months. I believe I made a good buy.
