Pros: It's a decent card for the money, I put a Zalman VF700-CU cooler on it, temps don't ever concern me. Easy to overclock and open pipes.

Cons: Was released almost strictly as a matter of competition.

Overall Review: Shell out the extra 40 bucks for a 6800GT.

Pros: I installed this on an OC'd 6800GT. I'm sure that, if it could, the stock cooling assembly would be ashamed of itself in the face of this cooling system. It keeps my card at around 34*c-38*c idle, around 50*c after playing Black & White 2 for an hour and a half with most settings on high. The little chip heat sinks are easy to apply, if you know how to apply stickers, you know how to apply the heat sinks. The option of 5v or 12v is nice. The mounting assembly is easily installed.

Cons: The only cons here are to be expected. It's a litle heavy, so just make sure you secure it in its place, whether it's with a screw or your cases snap-in/slide-in stuff. Again, to be expected, but it'll render the next slot or two under your card useless.

Overall Review: Don't FILE the heat sinks down like some people have said they've done, it's ok for them to be larger than your memory chips. Just make sure they don't sit up against anything. Metal dust inside of a computer is a bad thing. Make sure you clean your GPU and the contact-point of the cooler with alcohol or something then apply some GOOD thermal grease. Mount the cooler so it's over the chip heat sinks...you'll see what I mean when you get it. I'd recommend 12v, it's a little noisier, but it's worth the extra temp. drop you'll get.

Pros: The fan controller is a nice feature. All of the guages work. Good airflow.

Cons: A few more inches on the temp. sensor wire would've been nice. No instructions for anything.

Overall Review: The fan controller is easy to use, just read the words on all of the plugs. A 120mm fan for the back is a good idea.

Comments: just bought this for a laptop i forgot that i had. it makes about as much noise as the 40gb drive that originally came with the laptop. as fast as it should be.
