Does it's job, and looks nice with a price that's hard to argue with
Pros: - Works well, and is a reliable product - even has extra reassurance with its 80 Plus Bronze rating. - Looks better than a lot of lower end, budget PSUs. - Has enough connectors for an entry or mid-level PC. - Semi-modularity is always nice to have, especially with braided cables.
Cons: - There's nothing really to complain about, perhaps other than the fact that it isn't a higher efficiency rating, or that it's not fully modular, but for the price, that's not exactly an expectation.
Overall Review: - Great for entry level and mid-level PCs. A product I, personally, will be sure to revisit.
Good Fans for the Price, Pleasing Aesthetics
Pros: - The fans work well! I had absolutely no problems with running the fans either by the pin connectors on the motherboard or from the included MOLEX adapters that come with them. - They look nice! The red LEDs on them are easy on the eyes and the fan blades look really nice when the fans are running. - The mounting works fine, they aren't weird like some fans you'll find on the market. They'll work with radiators and heatsinks.
Cons: - You get what you pay for. They aren't silent like it says in the title, but they aren't very loud. - The plastic has a sort of cheap feel to it. The material could be better, but it was most likely done to keep the cost low.
Overall Review: - Great for red/black themed build for those on a budget. There are plenty of fans that will look better and work better, but not for a price like this.
Great motherboard, as anticipated from MSI
Pros: - Is not difficult to work with, has the basic features most builders would want - BIOS is fine to navigate, overclocking features do their job
Cons: - Has USB 3.0 on the back panel, but not on the board for front panel. As a builder, this was quite strange to me.
Decent beginner CPU, overclocks excellently!
Pros: - An overclocker's dream - mine overclocked from the stock 3.2 all the way to 4.7 stable, after a quick delid - Dissipates very little heat, and is good for builds that are limited on thermal capabilities
Cons: - In modern times, this CPU simply won't suffice for a lasting PC build without heavy overclocking. - Plays a handful of games surprisingly well when coupled with a sufficient GPU. Don't expect to play modern AAA titles smoothly
Great SSD for those looking for an ideal boot device! (DOA, received replacement perfectly fine)
Pros: - Performance is much better than any mechanical drive, and is ideal for a boot drive - Runs nicely for games and any other sort of applications that need a faster drive
Cons: - Mine arrived DOA, but the RMA service was great and I had no issues receiving a new one. The new device arrived and operated as expected.
Ideal Budget Case for Beginners and Modders!
Pros: - Very simple design, easy to work with - Very easy on anyone's budget - Easy to mod for those enthuzed
Cons: - No sufficient cable routing space, makes cable managing incredibly difficult/nonexistent, especially working with a non-modular power supply -CPU cooler clearance is difficult, Hyper 212 touched the panel
Overall Review: - This case is great for anyone looking for a minimal, budget case, but if you're looking for a case that has a few more nicer features (such as cable routing behind the back panel, and more room to fit a CPU cooler), a different case is likely to suffice to your needs. - This case is ideal for anyone looking for a case to mod without any sort of regrets in the event they make mistakes. The front panel is conveniently removable, and the low cost of the case makes it easy to find the confidence to mod if the builder has not done so before.
