Good Laptop For Money; Works With Linux

Pros: It is a new i7, has a good screen resolution (1920 x 1080), a good size hard drive (1 TB), and has dual band 802.11AC. The sound is also decent compared to other laptops I have used. I was able to install Arch Linux on it with no problem after I disabled UEFI. I was able to utilize the dual GPU (Intel and NVIDIA) even though it is tricky with Linux. It supports 6 Gbps SATA (revision 3) if you have plans to change the hard drive.
Cons: Minus one egg because of the difficulty in upgrading the memory. It took a lot of time. The memory slots and hard drive are not easy accessible through a simple removable panel. The touchpad does not have physically separate left and right buttons and is a bit large for me, but I know some people like both of those feature.
Overall Review: I installed Arch Linux and upgraded the memory immediately after it arrived. Until there is better support for UEFI I would switch to the legacy BIOS boot to save yourself trouble if installing Linux. I never booted into Windows with this laptop. I probably spent more time tweaking the Synaptics touchpad config after installing the OS than anything else. Be prepared to edit your X11 config file. To upgrade the memory I used 16 GB of G.SKILL F3-1866C10D-16GRSL. It was no problem once I actually removed all the screws and disconnected multiple ribbons and cables to get to the memory slots. Be very careful and I hope you are dexterous.
Very Low Actual Page Yield

Pros: Inexpensive compared to other MICR toner options. It works well before running out.
Cons: We have gone through two of these at less than half the approximate page yield for both cartridges. I was hoping the first one was just defective.
Overall Review: LD Products was responsive to our support request and did send us a replacement cartridge quickly.
Excellent USB NIC

Pros: It is very fast over USB 3 and works as expected. The extra USB port can be helpful if have don't have very many free ports left on your computer.
Cons: None so far. It is slightly slower than a true 1Gb Ethernet card.
Overall Review: If you are using Linux or BSD, depending on your kernel version, you may have to take a few extra steps to make the adapter work. It comes up as ASIX Elec. AX88179 in Linux.
Inexpensive and Work as Expected

Pros: We ordered a couple of these and they have worked with no problems so far. They are very bright green laser pointers.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: They are very bright green laser pointers that we use for presentations in very large meeting rooms (hold ~3,000 people). Many people use these as a better alternative to the red laser pointers. Do not point these at or near anyone's eyes!
Good Laptop/No Problems

Pros: Came with Windows 7 Professional. The wireless card inside is dual band (a/b/g/n). The laptop did not have too much crapware installed on it. So far no problems.
Cons: We upgraded the memory as soon as we recieved the laptop. It was cheaper to buy extra RAM instead of trying to find a similar laptop with more memory already installed. The upgrade was very easy.
Overall Review: We will likely go with Lenovo ThinkPad T Series again.
Good Quality and No Problems

Pros: Sturdy construction and works at 1Gb with our current equipment.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Works for our short patching needs. We have not been able to test this with 10Gb hardware yet.
Everything Arrived But Took More Than 1.5 Weeks
Our toner arrived safely but it took over a week and a half to get here. I am used to the speed of Newegg. With Newegg everything usually arrives in a day or so or at most within a week.
