Extremely happy
Pros: HDMI and DVI port, 5 USB ports.....price is amazing
Cons: On board video card and have had some sound issues from time to time
Overall Review: I bought this to stick in a Gateway PC whose motherboard didnt even last a year. For the price, I think it does an amazing job. It does everything I need it to do and the speed is good also. Now this isnt a motherboard that would be suitable for gamers and people who run a lot of processes at one time but it does what the average person does on a pc. I run video, burn DVDs, play music, games, use the internet, make DVDs through movie editing and sometimes run a few of these processes at the same time with no loss of speed. I use Windows 7 64x and have had a good experience with this board. I also have not had the installation problem that most are saying they have. Set it up, plugged it in, and bam everything was up and running within minutes. I got this in the mail and from the time I opened the package til the time it was up and running, was approx 20-25 minutes. Good motherboard for the casual everyday use of a family of four.
OK for the money
Pros: Nice compact netbook that runs Windows 7 starter.
Cons: Very slow at startup and lags throughout use.
Overall Review: I bought this for a xmas present for my daughter and it works fine for her and her schoolwork and getting on the web. This model does run extremely slow but I did get a great price on it so I cant complain to much. Startup is slower than any pc I have ever owned though.
Great when it works
Pros: Fast and simultaneous dual band. A lot of bells and whistles. Netgenie is fairly helpful for novice people and for pros.
Cons: This router drops signal quite often. Then the minute you lose power or have to reset the router, the firmware becomes corrupted and you have to go through this whole reinstallation of the firmware. I'm getting so used to it that it is becoming second nature now. Netgear support is horrible and want to sell you an extended warranty for a problem they know exists on this product. And the price of that extended warranty is almost as much as a new router (now why would I do that?) Very disappointed in this router for I bought this because of the pros mentioned above and paid good money for this when it was top of the line approx 1 year ago but it is not worth the hassle because of these firmware problems that they know exists with this model. I will probably go back to Linksey or Cisco for I have had no problems with those brands, maybe even try Motorola out for I see some of their models get good reviews. Never again with Netgear unless their customer service improves, not so much the attitudes for I had no problem with the person I talked to just the issues with the company not backing their product without charging me (because it is a known recurring problem).
Its an HDMI cable
Pros: It works....its 15 ft
Cons: None
Overall Review: Does what its supposed to do....no problems
Works but no range
Pros: Works very well at close range, easy to install
Cons: doesnt work any more than about 4-5 feet away
Overall Review: I bought this setup to work in my living room with my TV so I can use the keyboard and mouse from my sofa. Well, that experiment stopped very fast. This thing has no range at all. Now I have this on another PC in my office sitting right on the desk next to the PC. No problems there. So if you want it to get rid of the wires in close proximity with your PC, then its very nice but do not get if you want to use it from any distances. Also it tends to miss letters if you type very fast. I occasionally get that if Im in a hurry and really typing fast. Not a bad product though, I would buy again and reccommend. I use Windows 7 64x.
Use it all the time
Pros: Easy to install, works with Windows 7, good signal
Cons: Nothing
Overall Review: I have used this as far as 100 ft away and on a different level of my house with no problems losing signal at all. Picked a signal up the minute I installed it in my PC running Windows 7 64x. No complaints
