Gave my PC that new-PC smell again

Pros: Made my PC faster and quieter. Just the right size to hold a Windows install and several apps.
Cons: Windows Vista does not support TRIM. This is not OCZ's fault. This drive does implement garbage collection which helps work around the missing trim issue. Also, it would be nice if either OCZ or Microsoft provided an automated way to move frequently-written system files to my hard drive while keeping read-only files on the SSD. Or maybe I'm just too obsessive.
Overall Review: Never mis-underestimate the value of good customer support. OCZ has a good web site that provides a lot of helpful information. Not perfect, but far better than the competition.
VGA Error

Pros: All the features I wanted, except for firewire.
Cons: VGA error on boot. Must try several times to try to boot. Some previous messages here claim it's a power supply problem. Seems more likely that motherboard has a design flaw. My supply is an Apevia PS500 (X-Qpack2 case)
Overall Review: Biostar's web site and customer support do not inspire confidence.
OK.

Pros: Cheap. Lot's of features. Long battery life.
Cons: Has a 4-second recovery time after 5-minute "sleep" timeout. Frequently loses connectivity completely. Button layout is cumbersome for use as a TV remote.
Overall Review: I got this to replace a Perixx Periboard 717 to use this as a remote control for Windows media center. It works OK most of the time. The 4-second delay is annoying when the commercials come on and I want to skip past them. It forces me to watch 4 seconds of commercial! Sometimes it loses connectivity completely, and I have to pull the dongle out of the computer for a few seconds to reset it. The Perixx Periboard was a way better design and rock solid. Except that I dropped it too many times, and broke it into little pieces. RIP Periboard. I wish they still made new ones.
Wrong Fans

Pros: Quiet case. Clean look. USB 3.0
Cons: The case did not come with XtraFlo fans as advertised. It came with ordinary 3-pin, non PWM fans (A12025-12CB-3EN-F1). I bought this from a local shop (not NewEgg).
Overall Review: The power supply is on the bottom. It seems like most motherboards are optimized for PS on top, so the ATX power cable has to cross the entire motherboard, possibly blocking PCIE slots or RAM.
Good for music, Bad for talk

Pros: Signal processing does well for most music. Able to squeeze some really good sound out of 6-watt speakers. (Bose seems to want to hide the power spec. Based on the supply rating of 14 watts, I estimate the speaker power to be 6 watts each.) They manage to enhance the perceived bass by adding reverberation.
Cons: Not so good for talk and for some types of music. The enhanced bass causes talk to sound muddy and distorted. All Things Considered, Robert Siegal will sound like he's talking to you through a thin hotel wall. Solo piano music also seems to lose.
Overall Review: Would be better if there was some way to disable the signal processing.
Works OK

Pros: Seems to work OK. No functional problems other than possible color distortion.
Cons: Cheap chinese knockoff. No support. Loads an OCX that triggers my virus detector. The camera distorts colors, and makes many things look purple. Maybe this is how IR cameras are supposed to work.
Overall Review: While it may be completely safe, it seems to have a lot of sketchy security issues. To enable all of the web controls, it wants to loads an OCX file. This works with Internet Explorer but not Firefox. It also sets off my virus checker. Also defaults to enabling a private DDNS server somewhere in China.
