Awesome graphic card
Pros: I haven't tested frame rates, but it runs everything without a glitch, even at 1600x1200. Puts out good color graphics, zero flicker. Catalyst control panel is good, with a decent to good monitor you can create a color profile for accurate graphics and photographic work.
Cons: Puts out plenty of heat, you can feel it at the rear discharge vent (could be a pro in a cold room). The single most expensive part of my computer, aside from the NEC Multisync.

Scroll Wheel is Troublesome
Pros: Mouse works very well for most functions.
Cons: The scroll wheel doesn't lock in place well and causes unexpected scrolling. It is very annoying, and I will be looking for replacements soon.
Overall Review: I use my computer for work and get about 12-16 months of use out of a mouse before it starts wearing out. I have owned several Logitech M505 units, and they all worked well until the left buttons all wore out and became erratic and hard to use. Considering how much I use my computers and how well the M505 models worked I could live with that. Overall, since I was very happy with them (M505 model) I bought a pair of the newer M525 model units as replacements as I prefer to avoid getting used to totally new mice. I had hoped the new ones would be as good as the M505, but the scroll wheel doesn't have a good detent and it is always jumping around. It is extremely annoying to have windows jumping up and down when you are not expecting or wanting them to. I cannot recommend this mouse without pointing out this major flaw in the design. Sorry Logitech, I have been happy with many prior products, but not this one. I hope the issue gets fixed, but for now this product does not live up to my expectations.
May not work with a GA-P35_DS3L motherboard
Pros: Was a good price with rebate.
Cons: Built 3 systems with Gigabyte's GA-P35_DS3L motherboard and Intel E2160 processors and used this Crucial RAM on two of them and equivalent specification Corsair XMS on the other one. The systems all posted right away and installed XPx64 without any apparent problems. The 1.8 processors were running at 2.7 and the memory at specified settings (4-4-4-12-2T) and volts (2.2V). I started seeing some instability that appeared to be memory related, so ran memtest. Memtest failed at specified timing, so the timing was set to 5-5-5-18, and memtest ran 100 or so loops ok. Orthos would fail though, and the systems with the other brand of RAM got more and more instable as the days passed, so I replaced the Crucial with Corsair and that fixed the problems and they will all run Orthos for 20 hours without failure. Even with relaxed timings and running the processors at the 1.8 native speed the systems were flakey.
Overall Review: I know Crucial RAM is highly regarded, but 3 out 3 of my GA-P35_DS3L motherboards do not play nice with this RAM, and according to some other report people have had the same problem, while other have reported good luck with the same combination………go figure.
Pros: It did work well when new.
Cons: As these Lite-On recorders age, they progressively begin to be unreliable. Often it will now say a NEW disk is invalid or that there is no disk in the drive. Other times it will record and when finalizing the disk it fails, so you loose what was recorded. If you record on a disk, and eject the disk or turn the machine off before finalizing, it will probably not be able to read the disk again, saying the disk is invalid or that there is no disk in the drive. Timer recordings thus will not work, because the machine shuts off after a timer recording is done. If you keep opening and closing the door, sometimes it will finally read the disk, and at this point you had better finalize the disk and hope it does not fail, or you will loose it. If you start recording and the disk fills up, the disk can not be finalized, period, and once you remove the disk it may as well be thrown away. Presently, the only way to successfully make a recording and finalize it is to start the recording, stop i
Overall Review: I did not buy this from Newegg, but I have owned four Lite-On DVD recorders, and although the LVW-5115GHC worked longer than the previous ones, the pattern of failure has been consistent. While I don’t have the exact figures, in the end about 30% of all recordings on these Lite-On recorders result in a waste of time and an unusable disk. If you notice, most of the positive reviews come from people who have owned the machines for a shorter period of time; the negative reviews come from those who have owned them longer, can you see a pattern here?
Bad to the bone
Pros: Gets her done, in a hurry. Have mine running rock solid at 3.4 and 1.4V, air cooling. Sure, it was fast at 2.4, now it's faster yet. I do a lot of graphics and CAD, this has made those jobs much less dreadfull. Compared to a 3 year old 2.53 Pentium, 50MB files open and render many times faster, depending on exactly what you are doing. Haven't been able to get 3.6 and run stable yet. Would have been nice, but I'm not complaining. Idles at 40-43º o.c.ed and never hits 50º working. Ran about 10º cooler at stock 2.4 and stock voltage.
Cons: You will not like working on (using) older systems anymore, this CPU will spoil you badly.
Overall Review: It seems like cases are made more for boys and girls who want lights and case windows. I wanted a mid-tall black case with out a front door, and a front USB panel mounted low. Couldn't find one on Newegg. I almost sent this back, but used it anyway to get the new system built. I was willing to pay for a good case, but ironically this cheap one was configured closest to what I was looking for. For extra cooling on an overclocked Conroe, I added a Vantec 120mm fan in the front, plus a 80mm fan on the side panel where the air intake was (same bolt pattern, no modifications needed). With the two factory fans, plus 2 added, there is plenty of noise. Budget case, but does the job
Pros: When all is said and done, it is functional. Considering the low cost not a bad case, but it far from a high quality case at a bargin price. The 120mm fans move some air. The low mounted USB and Firewire panel is nice, so cords do not have to hang so far up from the case.
Cons: I am used to much better built cases, this case is flimsy compared to anything I have owned, especially the front panel. The plastic lugs on the front panel are iffy, hopefully they won't ever break when removing it, which must be done to add drives. The black case shows dust and smudges.
