Pros: It works! Powers everything up nicely, from my CPU, to my case light mods! 80 plus gold certified, the air coming out the back feels room temperature to me. The fan is silent as can be, lower RPM like the rest of the fans in my case making for a nice quiet PC :-)
Cons: Slightly over volted on the 12V rail(s)... BIOS says it is 12.151 Volts, but since this is only a very small over-voltage it won't hurt anything. I had to use most of the modular cables, so cable management was still tough in my case... but I guess that is my own fault for buying so many Hard drives and Case lights >.<
Overall Review: I've had it almost a month now and it's still running good as the day I got it. My Build: Raidmax 850W Gold Cert. PSU Core i5 2500K, currently @ stock speeds. Gigabyte P67 Mobo... to be replaced by Intel soon... Saphire HD6850 GPU Patriot Gamer Series 2x4GB @1,600 Mhz OCZ Vertex 2 80GB SSD (This thing is AWESOME) 2 x 640GB WD 7,200RPM Sata III Data Hard Drives. ASUS Dvd Writer Coolermaster Hyper 212 plus CPU cooler. and some pretty LEDs, UV reactive cable covers and fans, and a couple UV cathode lights... ... inside a NZXT M59 - 001BK case
Pros: I love it! The story is very interesting, I've been staying up later than usual just to get some extra time in playing. The battle system is unique, and works very well. Music in the game is excellent.
Cons: I like to skip mobs in order to get the storyline moving faster. But in this game, when you are under-leveled and you get to a boss.... you get PWNED!!! lol but that's really my fault :-)
Overall Review: I just wish I had known the PS3 had an awsome RPG sooner. I wouldn't have waited so long to buy it!
Pros: Sound is nice and clear. Great highs and mids. Lows are better than any other headset than I've owned, tho not as good as a nice 8" sub :-P The latest drivers work great.
Cons: hmmmm... none really... I'm pleasantly impressed :-)
Overall Review: I listen mainly to Orchestral music with this headset and it sounds really good :-) My friends say the mic is a bit quiet in Ventrilo, but they can turn me up to fix that... Using Skype people can hear me loud and clear.
Works Better than I expected
Pros: An Extreme improvement over my X1950pro. This plays the two games that I've been playing (Guild Wars and the Runes of Magic) perfectly, no lag, no visible slow-downs, with all settings maxed out on my 1440x900 monitor. Setup was a breeze because I read other reviewer's posts and I made sure to totally uninstall my old GPU drivers before installing this. Temperatures are fine. They are running at about 35C idle and they get into the mid 50's while gaming. Fan is quiet enough that I can not hear it even at 100% (but thats not saying much because of the noisy Thermaltake Typhoon I installed to get air moving out the back of my case lol)
Cons: The fan is quiet, but I wonder how much it's actually doing... I turn it down to 20% and temps go up maybe 1-2 degrees (fan normally seems to run 35-45% depending on temp), turn it up from the standard 35-45% to 100% and they go down 1-2 degrees.... I think most of the cooling comes from the 90mm fan I have blowing right on the graphics card lol. This might be good info for you people who don't have side fans and are considering buying this card.
Overall Review: I have this installed in my ABIT AW9D motherboard, with an E6600 CPU OC'd to 2.88GHZ, 2 gigs of Corsair 800MHZ RAM, 160GB 7200RPM Seagate HD, 550Watt Coolermaster Powersupply, in a Coolermaster Centurion 5 case. Everything is 2 years old except for this new GPU :-) It is working better than ever for gaming! :-D
Better than I expected!
Pros: First time I've ever used Vista and I love it. Takes a little getting used to, but It's not that hard to learn.
Cons: 64-bit caused me to have to buy a lot of new software because most of my old software wouldn't work on it. But soon 64-bit will be main-stream.
Overall Review: I'm glad I made the switch to Vista!
