Best bang for buck

Acer 19" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI X193W+BD
Acer 19" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI X193W+BD

Pros: It has 1680-1050 res, 2000:1 contrast ratio, HDCP support and 16.7 mil. colors. All for the low price of 199. I could not find its equal any ware. The screen also has automatic setting modes you can select movies, gaming, normal or user to adjust your self. It really is nice.

Cons: It's 19in, no surprise there I would love a 22 but when you have a budget you have to do the best you can. I want quality over quantity anyway so my 22 would be the 100 more dollars.

Overall Review: This is a very rare 19in because of the res at 1680x1050. So even though its a 19in it has more usable screen than any 19in at 1400x900. And the combination of contrast ratio and colors really make for a beautiful screen.

Not worth it!

HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KHX8500AD2K2/4GR
HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KHX8500AD2K2/4GR

Pros: It will work at 800mhz and 1066mhz. Very reliable at 800. It looks cool.

Cons: Unfortunately I was not part of the decision making when I received this ram. It works, but the timings are unacceptable. 800mhz at 6,6,618 and 1066 at 8,8,8,24. I know kingston has better and faster HyperX ram. This should not be labeled HyperX. There is nothing hyper about it. I get the blue screen of death about once a week when I run it at 1066. So for now its at 800.

Overall Review: I have manually played with the timings and the voltage and thats what I got. I'm running an AMD 9750, on an ASUS motherboard with the Nvidia 8300 chipset. I know ASUS motherboards can be a pain when it comes to memory and that may be my problem. My advice to anyone looking to buy ram, Kingston makes good ram but don't buy this one!

Almost Great

ROCCAT Savu Mid-Size USB Wired Gaming Mouse
ROCCAT Savu Mid-Size USB Wired Gaming Mouse

Pros: Built to the highest degree of quality. Has some of the best scroll and button feel I have ever felt. Braided cable. Cool LED lighting adds personality to an other wise boring looking mouse. I personally love the feel of the smooth top and textured sides. Very, Very accurate. Programmable shift button is ingenious, it doubles the function of your buttons.

Cons: No dedicated DPI buttons. Permanent selected DPI settings. This is why I knock off one egg. It is completely idiotic to not give the user the choice of what their DPI settings should be. Especially when it jumps from 1600 to 4000 and nothing in between. Also, I just can't get comfortable with this mouse. For me it is way to small for palm grip. So I use a sort of claw grip but the thumb buttons are set to far back. If the thumb buttons where more forward I think it would feel better.

Overall Review: I bought this at a brick and mortor on sale for $35 and I think it is the best quality mouse I have ever owned. I have been using mice since Windows 3.1, and I have tried them all. My last mouse was a G400 which felt great but Logitec is having quality issues, so I tried something new. Roccat makes a high quality and well constructed mouse. I wanted to like this mouse but it is just to small. So I'm just going to buy the "Kone pure optical", something I would recommend to anyone with bigger hands that may be interested in the Savu.

Works very well, for the price

Pros: I have had this router for a year and it has been rock solid the whole time. I never updated, never had dropped signal or any reboots. IT'S $20 BUCKS PEOPLE.

Cons: It lets you know that its a $20 router with its range.

Overall Review: I love how people expect this router to perform like a router 3or4x's the price. It does seem like a hit or miss product. Mine has been great for a year now, with up to 4 devices connected to it by wireless and one wired. I can play BF3 over wireless but no one else can connect or it will hit its limit.

Great Monitor/HDTV

SAMSUNG ToC T240HD Rose-Black 24" 5ms HDMI Widescreen HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10000:1 Built in DTV Tuner & Dolby Digital Surround Speakers
SAMSUNG ToC T240HD Rose-Black 24" 5ms HDMI Widescreen HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10000:1 Built in DTV Tuner & Dolby Digital Surround Speakers

Pros: The tuner is what sold me on this unit. To get a monitor and a HDTV in one for a good price is rare. 24 is not to big or small, its perfect. Great screen and fram and its a Samsung so you know the quality is there.

Cons: I believe it is only 6bit, where a real HDTV is 8bit. So the color accuracy won't be as good as maybe a 32inch 1080p Samsung, but its not noticable to me.

Overall Review: I have it in by bedroom where it sits on my desk. Its perfect, I use it as a TV and a monitor. I could not be happier.

Panasonic VIERA 50" 1080p Plasma HDTV TH50PZ700U
Panasonic VIERA 50" 1080p Plasma HDTV TH50PZ700U

Pros: I don't know if anybody cares but consumer reports said that this was the best tv they have ever seen period.

Cons: I don't own it ...yet.
