5* display with a bad pixel roulette

Pros: IPS Gsync 2K 165HZ Functional monitor settings Functional stand and VESA mount Includes speakers.
Cons: Chance of a dead pixel (no problems here, ordered from Newegg and got a display with a 3/2018 mfg date) "Only" HDMI & Displayport inputs "Only" 2 USB ports on display. Not so great speakers.
Overall Review: This monitor should be 5* but because it's a monitor without a 100% guarantee for no dead pixels it doesn't have it. Newegg's return policy & monitor exchange policy is pretty terrible for taking the chance... but that shouldn't lower the rating of the display itself, so it's still 5* to me.
Good... while they work...

Pros: I bought a set of four of these a few months ago when they were the clipped heatsink two sided version - when they were the good micron chips and they worked fine until they gave out.
Cons: They now come as single sided ram with a spreader glued to both sides. I was very disappointed to see the change when I got the new ones. I've had four of six sticks go bad after just a few months in a eVGA 780i mobo without OCing at all. Won't even post with any of the old sticks, and it all started with random BSODs (which disappeared when I removed the problem stick, and after the problem stick was removed it would never let me even POST with it in ever again) Since they're single sided now its unlikely they are still the good micron chips, they seem to be very very cheaply made. Its unlikely they would OC or perform as well as a double sided ram stick. Almost cut myself pushing em in. Ontop of it all, one of my original double sided ram had a LED light missing, just wasn't there on one of the rows at all but it seemed to function fine.
Overall Review: I would go with a different type of ram than this. These used to be good high quality chips - I don't know enough about the new ones to tell if they're any good chips really but i'd still put my money elsewhere. This is like a stripped down version of what it used to be - hence the cheaper prices. I've never had RAM go bad before these either.
Horrible durability

Pros: It worked for a while
Cons: I purchased two. After just over two and a half years one basically died and I neglected to check if the warranty expired. Now another six months later the second one is dying. Both are out of warranty :)
Zomg I <3 SSD!

Pros: + FAST! + Big enough for an OS Drive! + No Stuttering Whatsoever! + Very Lightweight + Includes a Drive Bracket
Cons: - Still a wee bit expensive - Included drive bracket isn't very compatible with my Antec P180 case. Had to jury rig it into the floppy drive bay. (Might have worked with the middle drive bay, but I need a fan there to cool my video cards)
Overall Review: Went from Windows Vista x64 on a 750gb disk drive to windows 7 x64 with this lovely thing. Good lord does it boot fast! My FPS in World of Warcraft went from ~25-35 to over 70 in 25 man raids. Likely due to 4gb of ram in vista - but even if I was using vista the stuttering from swap file usage would be so much better. I'm using a raid0 setup with 2 500gb drives as my data drives... and I hate loading anything the first time, because after its in ram+swapfile its nearly instantaneous loading. :D I wish I could afford another one of these, a raid 0 setup would be amazing :)
Frequent Disconnects :(

Pros: Cheap, Easy to install. Works in vista64
Cons: Keeps disconnecting frequently for me no matter what drivers I use. Four other wireless nics have no connection trouble and have no packet loss. This card gives tons of packet loss.
Overall Review: Wish there were updated drivers that didn't suck. Mine totally do. That or its a defective card, or it doesn't work with a evga 780i mobo.
Has issues with more than 2 sticks of ram

Pros: Lots of features. TRi-SLi for those who have monitors the size of the sun. More USB than you could possibly ever use.
Cons: Does not function correctly with over 2 sticks of RAM. I have lost four 1GB sticks to this flaw (Bought 6x Crucial Ballistix and only two work, four went dead one at a time only when I had more than two in the mobo, they will not even post in any mobo now of the three i've tried.) Have gotten frequent BSODs from memory errors before switching to a 2x2gb setup. Northbridge Fan sounds louder than a jet engine. Northbridge runs very hot, limits FSB speed.
Overall Review: Can use a 60MM fan instead of the northbridge fan by using ties or putting screws into the northbridge heatsink (between fins) - cools many times better I will likely never buy another NVIDIA based mobo due to this mobo - not allowing more than two sticks of ram to function normally really sucks. Means i'm stuck with two slow 2gb sticks rather than four very fast 1gb sticks. Has something to do with a faulty memory controller or something - they have some details on the evga site. I spent way too much money on this motherboard (bought it the first week it was out, three benjis) Have had nothing but disappointment from it. Atleast my SLi works.
