Passed the test
Pros: -Reasonable price
Cons: -No fancy heat sinks (cant see into my case anyway)
Overall Review: Nice stability on my ASUS Prime board for INTEL i7 with no overclocking. I just bought 1 x 8GB stick to get my new build running. When the price gets competitive on DDR5, I will add more of these or upgrade to higher speeds and lower latency.
A happy camper
Pros: High stability - Memtest and Prime 95 passed several hours worth of stress testing. Runs perfectly at spec. Motherboard automatically set freq-speed after changing a single BIOS setting. Nice color which happened to match my mboard Price was hard to pass up
Cons: Specs a bit on the slow side for quality memory
Nice! But Base Unstable
Pros: Excellent text and color quality. Very quiet! (My last Acer did buzz when you reduce brightness-I like my monitors near the lowest brightness levels.) Glossy displays have better contrast, sharper text and less obtrusive whites. Decent control set for calibration. 3 Year warranty. VESA 100 mounting holes on back. HDMI if I ever need it.
Cons: Base is short and unstable! If you are using this on a flimsy computer desk like mine. The monitor shakes during routine typing. I purchased a VESA wall mount at another retailer. NOW ITS AWESOME. This enabled me to bring the height up to where it should be. These new wide monitors are shorter which requires a higher stand to be ergonomic. Also it does not shake at all! A 5 egg if the base were taller and more stable.
Overall Review: A glossy display...Do NOT buy this if you have many windows and lights in back of you. The reflections will drive you nuts!
