Works Great
Pros: This was my first Intel MB build and it was very easy. Instructions were clear and specific. MB it is great, it is in Crossfire with two 6870s, 16G of memory, SSD for system and 1T storage. Intel Extreme Tuning Utility works fantastic,
Cons: From the Intel driver’s disks just install the Network Connections driver to access the internet and download BIOS from INTEL reboot and return to INTEL for the drivers. Just a suggestion!
Overall Review: No MB manual included in Box all reference material and specifications must be looked up in INTEL. This is not a build to be done without internet access. Good job INTEL I am surprise lets see if you can keep it up.
Mix
Pros: Purchase two of these. One product worked well in one machine (connected internally) with a pci-e usb 3.0 card. Still working.
Cons: Connected second unit externally and lost MB, connected unit to second mother board internally and the power supply wire connected to it started to smoke. I was able to save MB by quickly disconnecting the power.
Overall Review: Take it as you may. However, I will never purchase from SYBA again. It cost me a mother board and a power supply.
Keeper So Far
Pros: This MB can sustain punishment. After previous review posted 6/9/2012, I removed MB with some dissatisfying force and MB remain intact.
Cons: Cons posted previously.
Overall Review: After futile trials, remove MB clean case and connections. Then, clear CMOS and force air in all fissures of the board. Reinstalled all components one at the time, MB behaved well and accepted RAID configuration with 2 Crucial SSD 64 for System, follow by EVGA 2w, USB 3.0 PCIex1 add on card, Rosewill PCI wireless card and other miscellaneous add-ons. Furthermore, I tested system for 3 days and no issues. System is traveling and will receive further punishment in travel and at destination. Overall MB is working well. New rating of 3 eggs due to the issues previously noted. Note: AsRock SUPPORT very attentive to reviews in Newegg. Hope it is the standard and not the exception. Thank You for your prompt posting. Your response and Newegg attention to detail have made me rethink AsRock overall customer value.
1st After Long Time
Pros: I purchased two for SLI configuration. Plug them in and windows automatically detected and installed drives. No problems so far. These pair replaced GTX 460 2WIN which I RMA to factory two times. Cards are running at 44C and 48C. Top card has very little room to breathe due to the size and having the bottom card very close to it.
Cons: Size 'thickness' does not let the top card breathe sufficiently, Running 4 degrees higher than bottom card. These temperatures are at no load, Top card running 975MHZ and bottom running at 50MHZ. Do not find this a feat Con because cards are working fine so far.
Overall Review: Cards looked pleasingly good and do their job. Fans could get loud but it is part of cooling.
Vantec Small
Pros: Nice compacted size fans are fairly quite. Nice looking blue aluminum with a solid construction and finish look.
Cons: Fans could use a three of four pin connector instead of a Molex old fashion connector. Vantec should have included adapter my machine only uses 3-4 pins and sata power connectors besides MB and PCIE connector and had to add one strain of connectors from my PSU just to run the these two fans. No need degrade rating for the legacy Molex.
Overall Review: Does the job is intended for with small footprint.
INOP
Pros: Looked good with promising performance.
Cons: Card failed after 3 days with fragmented snow. Images not clear. Could be I received a bad product; however, one is all it takes.
Overall Review: RMA and purchased GTX 550 working fine to the day.
