WD never fails

Pros: I bought this for my wife to back up her documents and photos for her business from her shop desktop to protect them and to put them on a portable drive she could take with her laptop when she needed to meet customers outside of her shop. It works like a charm!! It was instantly detected by both computers downloading the files to the drive was easy, and the laptop has no problem accessing the data. On top of that it looks as though you could drag this behind a truck and not damage it, so if looks are anything, this thing is tough!
Cons: It is not really a con, but if you are moving a ton of data over at one time, pack a lunch because you will be there a while.
DISAPPOINTED

Pros: Great sound, small size, easy to load and use.
Cons: temperamental playback-skips many songs for no apparent reason. I purchased 5 of these before Christmas 2007 as stocking stuffers for my wife and kids due to the great experience we had had with previous Sansa players and they all wanted players with a little more capacity and without the nicks and bumps their older players had accumulated over two years. Unfortunately, since that initial purchase, we have not had as great of an experience with Sansa mp3 players as we did initially. The first were so good that I never had need to contact Sansa support, so it was not until subsequent purchases I came to appreciate what a futile effort that enlisting aid from the support line was. Basically. if one contacts the support line, one will be told to do all of the things that one was told to do prior to contacting support in the first place, which in this case did nothing. Unfortunately, we did not realize that we had an issue with the players until after the return period to New Egg had
Overall Review: expired, as they were given as Christmas gifts. I would have much rather dealt with New Egg and their always excellent service. As we stand now, we have 5 slightly used sansa players that were probably in use only 2 or 3weeks over the past year loaded with music that is 60% unplayable, and me pretty much convinced that after reading all of the positive reviews, I some how managed to get a handful of defective players against all odds and that I would NEVER purchase another Sansa player based on this experience and the wasted $200 I spent on them and the hours of wasted time performing all of the ineffective "fixes" on the support sites.
Very Good

Pros: Fast, quiet, easy install
Cons: I remember when hard drives reached 1 gig and I thought, this is crazy, no one could ever use that much space! Now I'm looking at a 300 gig drive I've had about a week that is half filled and thinking, I should have bought bigger!! No complaints about the drive though, top notch WD as always!
Overall Review: Build Phenom II 920, Asus M3A78-EM, 4 GB GSkill DDR2-800, Thermaltake Purepower 500 watt PSU, LG DVD burner, Rosewill case and card reader, WD 300 Gig HD, Vista Premium 64 bit.
Works Great

Pros: It works, no errors, simple install
Cons: none

It's Alive!!

Pros: It works, computer is pretty quick, I have never had anything but good luck with my GSkill memory purchases.
Cons: If it weren't for the reviews on this site that had used this memory in an AMD build, I would have passed it over, because the GSkill website doesn't seem to have as much regarding AMD compatibility as it does regarding Intel.

Works Like A charm

Pros: Easy install, Phenom II 920 booted right up, almost noob proof with the included manual, tech help on some of the boards that I gathered before I ordered, and some of the helpful reviews here!
Cons: Still fearing the BIOS update a little, as this is my first build, but it seems a little murky as to how to best proceed, but I'll check back in as I explore it more.
