They work
Pros: I got this to burn podcasts onto for a 10 hour drive. 7 of the 50 have been burned to full and they work just fine. Spindle and cover is great too.
Cons: No label on the cover?
Overall Review: This was the cheapest set of 50 on newegg at the time ($10) and for less than a quarter per CD, I felt this was a great purchase.
It's RAM
Pros: Reliable small, so didn't get in the way of my giant heatsink
Cons: n/a
Overall Review: Glad I started out my build with 1 stick of 16GB. Now I got another one, and I can get two more for 64GB of RAM if I so choose! Good price, and works exactly as expected.
8 months in, no problems
Pros: Overclocks my 8700k to 5 GHz to problem Nice UI
Cons: none
Overall Review: It's a great motherboard for mid tier overclocking. Would recommend.
Best router for $100 or less
Pros: Never cuts out fast, according to specs good signal
Cons: Overkill if you're in an apartment with less than 200Mb/s.
Overall Review: This router is on one side of a 3600 sq. ft. house, and we can get signal to the opposite side of the house. In the backyard area opposite to the router, not quite.
A powerful, power hungry, hot, graphics card
Pros: Has lasted long, works as expected, benchmarks are similar to what you can find on review websites. Doesn't throttle down.
Cons: THE HEAT!! Usually Gigabyte's Windforce cooler is overkill, but this card pushes it. It's not the quietest thing in the world, but you're not getting much quieter without putting water or Arctic on it. But... I knew this going in, and the other 290s can only dissipate the heat so much, so still 5 eggs.
Overall Review: When we first put this card in, the computer died after loading up Far Cry 3. Turns out the sh**-tastic power supply that Cyberpower put in our computer couldn't take 70% load. How about that... No issues after getting a Corsair 600W. Buy good power supplies my peeps.
1 year in, still pristine
Pros: reliable fast (maxes out USB 2.0 anyway) no cap to lose METAL keychain hole
Cons: font on the metal eventually wears out? VERY small keychain hole
Overall Review: given that you have a keyring small or thin enough to fit in the little hole, this this is amazing. With no cap to lose, but still being able to twist out, nothing should get at the USB interface to screw it up. I've thrown it around, stuffed it into my pocket 1000s of times, had corrupted files on it, but after a year it still works just as well as the day I bought it. I highly recommend this thing. Find a keyring to hold it, and never buy another flash drive again. (Or at least not for a long while)
