Great Card

Pros: I purchased a cheap new HP Presario and went straight to NEWEGG and fixed it. Now I got a decent gaming rig. ATI driver/software is great. Software says it's running at 50-55 Celcius. I had to get a new PS. I grabbed the super cool epower 520, and some Value RAM. My budget box plays all but the newest games cranked up !!! Tested out the Bioshock demo - flawless. THX NewEgg
Cons: Card is long. Not a problem for me.
Overall Review: It's not DX 10 but the comparison is only noticable on some textures, like reflections, this card has great framerates for the price. Don't bother with DX10 unless you get the $400-500 model. Games will continue to work in DX 9.0C for a long time, and DX is still changing, - get a x1950 !!!
DOA

Pros: Arrived in Ohio about 2 days after I ordered it. Lots and lots and lots of wires.
Cons: Started the machine, and it shut off after a few minutes. Trusted that this was a great power supply and sent the rebate in before installing it in my machine. No RMA from Newegg because of the missing UPC - waiting on Antec to issue RMA ... Replaced with a really nice, economical, OCZ and everything is peachy. Should have trusted the reviews on this model. Trust me - move on and avoid the frustration.
Overall Review: My OCZ power supply is modular and it's easier to install and organize the cables. This one has an incredible nest of wires and connectors that will probably surprise you - from now on I'm going modular - now that these have so many hookups, it's very difficult keeping the case tidy inside.
Nice Design

Pros: • Price • Separate Weather Tuner and push button for quick weather check • Good reception • 110v cord which can be stashed under the battery cover • Mechanical dial tuner seems to get those hard to get stations a little more clearly than some of the digital radios.
Cons: I'd prefer C or D cells for a good emergency kit radio. It's not much of a con, but in a power outage lasting several days, I'm sure larger batteries would be nice to have. This one takes 4 AA batteries.
Overall Review: The sound is about what you'd get from a small clock radio with a good speaker. It's nice and crisp until you crank it up. The weather tuner is a small dial on the back so you can switch to weather and back with a big button on top. The weather plays much lower volume. The clock is a very simple digital clock, but has a clock light button - another good emergency radio feature. Overall I have to sum it up as old school - it has a dial tuner and dial volume - if it wasn't for the little digital clock, you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this radio and one from 30 years ago.
Get this Increadible Computer Monitor - 3D and sound are horrible

Pros: Bought this a year ago when I got my tax return, and I've used it daily as my desktop monitor since. The Sceptre 1080 LED TVs have great clarity and work super as monitors. My daughter has the pink one (non-3D). It gets a solid 5 stars for the current sale price (nearly half off) and the monitor quality picture that you don't find with other LED TVs
Cons: The speakers are horrible - it's inheirant with Sceptre products - I love the products, but the sound is like an old portable AM radio. The 3D effect is a gimmick since it's not an active true HD 3D. It looses contrast and resolution to provide the left and right seperation - If you are looking for something in 3D, spend more and get a quality 3D TV with active glasses
Overall Review: others no longer carry a large selection of Sceptre. I own 3 including a large 52" LCD, and will be buying Sceptre from NewEgg again.
Best deal you can get on a DVD burner

Pros: Quiet, Fast, it's the only drive out there that erases any standard writable disk. Buy it now if you need one.
Cons: The sale price and OEM availability comes and goes. You might want to grab one even if you don't need it.
Overall Review: Check out the great deal on the ASUS Blu Ray burner. With either deal, you my want/need additional software.
Great Drive

Pros: Great drive, and noticably faster load times from my WD blue drive. This drive is getting good reliability reviews from the tech sites and is well made. It's a design departure from earlier drives so you can't really compare it to Deskstars of the past which I also thought were good, but not as well recieved as WD.
Cons: Not a Con on Hitachi but my Photoshop could not function with this drive at full size. I had to partition it beause the older versions of photoshop could not resolve the addressing for a swap file on such a large drive - this compatibility problem happens at sizes over 1TB with Photoshop and other programs.
Overall Review: Comes up frquently as a discounted item/promo. At the discount price, the Hitachi 1.5 TB Deskstar is the best bang for the buck by far.
