Newegg is the Best

BenQ FP241VW Silver-Black 24" 6ms GTG DVI HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and 1:1 Pixel Mapping 500 cd/m2 1000:1
BenQ FP241VW Silver-Black 24" 6ms GTG DVI HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and 1:1 Pixel Mapping 500 cd/m2 1000:1

Pros: The monitor is outstanding but Newegg is even better. The first monitor had a defect. Everything about it was fantastic EXCEPT it would not detect a loss of signal properly. So when it was supposed to shut down (power save or just unplug the HDMI cable) it would instead go to a bright solid blue screen and stay on. So Newegg agreed to ship the replacement overnight as soon as UPS had the shipping info for the returned unit in the system (also paid by Newegg). As close to a cross ship as you can get with a non-refundable product! I was absent a monitor for only two days thanks to their excellent customer service. And the new one works like it should. Awesome PQ, no pixel problems, AND it goes blank on loss of signal.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Watching HD-DVD on this screen is scary. Very realistic. By far the best monitor I have ever had (and I have had a lot).

2.4 ghz radio continuously fails

Linksys AC3200 WRT3200ACM Open Source Ready Smart Wi-Fi Gigabit Router Supported by DD-WRT, eSATA / USB 3.0
Linksys AC3200 WRT3200ACM Open Source Ready Smart Wi-Fi Gigabit Router Supported by DD-WRT, eSATA / USB 3.0

Pros: Great on 5.0 ghz and when the 2.4 ghz radio is working.

Cons: There is a well documented problem with this router and the 2.4 ghz radio. It appears to be a driver issue that has not been solved with firmware updates (the most recent in mid May, 2017). The 2.4 ghz works sometimes for days and then sometimes freezes up a couple of times a day. The only way to fix is to reboot the router. Anything on the 2.4 ghz band stops working until the router is rebooted. Tried a million fixes (changing settings, moving the router, etc.). Nothing works. Did not try a third party firmware as reviews say that they are also suffering from the same driver issues. Too late to return but buying an Asus router anyway so we have consistent connectivity for those peripherals on the 2.4 band.

Overall Review: No! - unless you do not have stuff that runs on 2.4.
