Good Mobo but...

BIOSTAR TA970 Ver. 5.3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
BIOSTAR TA970 Ver. 5.3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Great layout. I love the red and black color. Easy installation. Easy to navigate bios.

Cons: I received my box in great condition. No damage done to the exterior so everything shipped nicely, however, upon opening the box I noticed the SATA 4, on the bottom right corner of board, was very badly bent. I'm upset that this was overlooked when it was packaged, but it didn't affect the board from working.

Overall Review: It's a good buy, I just had bad luck when it came to the SATA port.

Working great!

BitFenix Spectre LED Orange 230mm Case Fan
BitFenix Spectre LED Orange 230mm Case Fan

Pros: Quiet, orange LEDs, big air flow.

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: I've had this well over a year now, going on two. Very pleased with it. Didn't mean to wait this long to review it, but you can never know what might go wrong with parts. It's a great fan. Lots of airflow. Just make sure you have space for it. It's a thinner 230mm, but if you have a video card that has the PCI-e power cables connect on the side of the card instead of the front, this may pose an issue in a Mid-sized case. My cables are actually touching the barrier of the fan. But, as long as you can get everything situated and here no ticking of something hitting the fan blades, you'll be good to go.

Very nice case.

Rosewill ARMOR-EVO - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case - Supports Up to E-ATX MBs - Six (6) Pre-Installed Fans: 2 x Front Red LED 120mm, 2 x Top 120mm, 1 x Side 230mm, 1 x Rear 120mm (Supports Up to 9)

Pros: Great internal set up. Tool-less design but also built very solid. Sometimes tool-less cases have more plastic than metal fixtures it seems. Not the case with this case. Lots of HDD bays. GREAT cut outs for cable management. Nice airflow, keeps the goods cool.

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: Replaced my old Antec 900 ver 1. Just one and a few minor details. The pre-installed fans are not adjustable. They have a preset speed. It's a decent speed and keeps everything nice and cool, and they're quiet. The top, rear and side fans do not have LEDs, I knew this getting the case and plan to install some LED fans to those areas to make it a bit more flashy. I've never been good with cable management so I was looking for a case specifically with that in mind. I made a darn good choice. From the pictures I could get a good image of how I'd set it all up and it went pretty well. Everything fits nice. I no longer have cables running in the front. Everything is nicely tucked behind the mobo and side panel. I love the x2 USB 3.0 on the front and 2x USB 2.0 on the front as well. Lots of default ports to fit some accessories, unfortunately my current mobo doesn't have the proper plug for the USB 3.0 so I'll have to get an adapter or replace the mobo. :( My mistake there. Other than all that, it's a great case. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good airflow case and cable management by far.

This is gaming.

MSI GeForce GTX 680 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N680 PE 2GD5/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 680 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N680 PE 2GD5/OC

Pros: The look. Dual fans. Performance for the price. This thing does it all. Running along side an FX 8350 Vishera 4.0GHz x8 AMD CPU. Nothing overclocked as it makes me uncomfortable, however I must say even on default setting this thing is a beast. Ultra settings Witcher 2 - Stable and smooth at 28 - 45 FPS. Never drops below 28 and remains incredibly smooth. Ultra settings Crysis 2 - A very smooth and stable 55 FPS, has never dropped below 48. Ultra settings Skyrim - Due to the engine of the game, I still get FPS dips, but it's never went under 30. Anyone with experience with Bethesda games knows they're buggy and will drop FPS because of it. But I'm usually cruising at 60 FPS when outside of drop areas. All in all, it does what I hoped. Runs everything at a very comfortable and smooth rate. I can't be any happier. Even with just ONE of these cards I'm running everything three times better than my old GTX 460, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Cons: Really my only complaint is it's size. Pay close attention to the dimensions of this card and make your measurements in your case before ordering to make sure you have the space for it. I run my rig in an Antec 900 first gen, and I BARELY made the cut to put this card in, so do your homework. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Overall Review: I can't imagine what this thing couldn't do in SLI.
