Some negative reviews are from inexperience of the User

Pros: I am confused with all of these people saying that this psu can't handle their 8800gtx or 4870. As we speak, this PSU powers a GTX 295, and a 9800 GX2 (physx) and it has never failed on me. I know that only one of the cards on the 9800 GX2 is actually in use during games, but it has behaved like a champ. I play Geometry Wars, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Defense Grid, Crysis, Rise of Nations, Street Fighter, Ghostbusters, Batman Arkham, etc, and run Video editing software on my 28 inch LCD. Not once has it died on me.
Cons: It did take some fidgeting around with to get it working initally, compared to my previous hard drive. Not modular but I knew that going into the purchase.

Instead I like to sound like i really do" status. Are some of the negative reviews the psu's fault? Of course! Are some of the negative reviews the buyers fault? Of course, probably much more than have admitted it. I've had this for over a year and a half, and a few days ago I purchased a 1000w modular so that I can upgrayedd in the future, and bcuz with everythang I have, my case is cluttered. So far, this thang has run exceeded my espectations. (2 d's for a double dose of that p1mp1ing
Drivers are horrible

Pros: Purchased as an open box item, then sent in for a rebate as well. Inspite of what some reviews say, this is fairly quiet, but then again, I am coming from a GTX 295. This card is much quieter. I run my games on 1920x1200 res. Crysis 2 DX11 on highest settings 2xAA min fps was around 32, but averaged mid 40s. Compared to my previous build Crysis Warhead Enthusiast I now fluctuate high 30s-low 50s. Used to be about 10 fps lower. COD MW1highest settings 4xMorp average in the 80s. Civ 5 average 34fps, but why would I need more. Be careful, Civ 5 has overheated this card which caused a reboot many times. I figured it out after about the 3rd crash it was gpu over heating, but Civ 5 is notorious for that. I almost took off another egg, until I found a fix for a couple games which dramatically improved performance.
Cons: Severe micro stuttering. Drivers are horrible especially when it comes to the TWIMP games. Borderlands was unplayable for me when I enabled crossfire, but was fine with it disabled, and The Last Remnant had severe problems with and without cross fire, and that's with AA at minimal or disabled in CCC on both games. Borderlands crossfire fluctuated between the single digits and 50 fps, xfire disabled played fine. TLR crossfire battle was teens through 40 fps, usually low 20s. Xfire disabled, not playable. For TLR which has a history of horrible fps on AMD cards, I found a trick online which worked with Borderlands as well. Some games don't have an crossfire profile, like TLR, so I changed the name of the exe file to "MassEffect" which does have one. Night and day difference, I can actually play these games in crossfire fine. Borderlands stays high 40s-62fps. TLR battle high 20s-50s, but averages in the mid 30s. Defense Grid has severe flucuation in xfire, but is fine xfire disa
Overall Review: Lucid multi gpu has never worked with a dual gpu card, even the latest 1.7.106 drivers wont even install, so you're wasting your money if you buy this card to mix with Nvidia. I got my GTX 460 to work only as Physx card using the Hybrid Physx Mod 105ff. Yes, it really does work. Before I put this in my new system I came from a 2x8 PICe board which had GTX 295 and GTX 460 -Physx (talk about severe bottleneck), slower processor, DDR2 memory, and in many games this barely outperforms it, if at all. I now have 2x16 PCIe slots. Granted Civ 5 lookss amazing with DX11, but upgrading to this was not worth the money. I had a problem not receiving my rebate. I called for the status, they mailed it out fast, but it got lost in the mail. Customer service is great, fast response time. (UPDATE) Works with Ryzen 2700x and 3900x

Pros: Works with AMD's Ryzen. I have it at 3466mhz, 16-18-18-36. I'm not a good memory overclocker, but if you are, these timings probably aren't good. I have a 13gb ramdisk that is super fast. I have my TEMP and TMP folders there, and internet browsing is sped up tremendously, plus, I don't get so many writes to my SSD's UPDATE: I recently updated my cpu to a Ryzen 3900x, while updating my ram to 64gb (4x16gb) at the same time, and everything turned out great. The speed won't go as high as before, but my mobo manufacturer warned me of that beforehand when using four dimms versus two. Also, since I bought 2x16gb kits on two separate occasions, there are no guarantees that the kits will work at advertised speeds, and especially in a 4 dimm config, and that's bcuz they weren't tested like that, but I understood that ahead of time. My ram is now running at 3333, 16-18-18-38, stock voltage. The original kit I bought May 2018, and the next kit April 2020. With what I do, I haven't seen a performance increase, but I bought this in response to the Corona situation, not knowing if there would be shortages on pc parts in the future.
Cons: Can't blame G Skill, but AMD officially doesn't support these speeds, though some Mobo makers say their boards support it with overclocking. (Update) If you are not reaching the advertised speeds of 3600mhz for your processor, and unless your kit is defective, then that is not G Skillz fault. They sell kits at different speeds, and some faster that what most mobo makers advertise. Some people can overclock them faster that advertised speeds. If you are having problems with your memory working at Cpu specific speeds, then go watch some videos online, they might help you out.
