Pros: Very nice case. Much roomier than HAF 932 eATX and HPTX. HDD- hot swap Quite fans (spects are very hard to find on Lian Li website)
Cons: 1) HPTX: 2 holes were missing for SR-2 motherboard. I had to drill to the back plate for better support 2) Front fans are on the side and were placed as an exhaust fan, needs to be reversed.
Overall Review: 1) I put a 120 mm intake fan instead of the upper 3x HDD bay. This improved air flow. 2) SR-2 fits very well. 3) 2.5 drive is not hot swap, is located in the bottom. is not bad, but I put the SSD in one of the 3.25 bays as hot swap. 4) There is enough room for Water cooling 5) Close loop systems (H70, H80 etc may work, but air flow may be a problem. (H100 would be very difficult) I used 2 Noctua 12's. No problems with good cooling and very silent case. 6) How much is it worth? I got a very good price (240-80=160$) But definitely a great case, pleasure to work with.
Not as described!
Pros: Basic videocard.
Cons: This item is not described correctly by newegg. 1) There is no HDMI port (this is one of the main reasons I bought this card) 2) It only has a passive cooler, (in the description and picture there is a fan).
Overall Review: I would keep away from this item. Newegg did a very bad job on this one.
Very low noise, very nice airflow, very good case
Pros: I bought 2 of these cases now, and moved both my computers to these. 1) Very good airflow. 2) very low noise. (19 dBA) 3) I moved 2 of my computers to this case. Made a significant difference: a) One skulltrail D5400Xs with 2 Zalman 9700's in a Chieftech CA-01B: this case with this setup was extremely noisy, and now the noise level has decreased significantly now. b) the other case was Antec 1200 with oc i7 920 (4.0 oc) with Coolit Domino. After I moved the noise is less( but not as significant as the other setup). (due to Coolit Domino) The Antec 1200 fans are too loud (upto 30 dBA)
Cons: 1) Looks nice,( but Antec 1200 looks better). 2) e-ATX fits, but it is mainly an ATX case. 3) Coolit Domino fits with the 230 mm side fan (jbut you must rotate the fan)
Overall Review: Cooler Master Sniper is another excellent case for airflow (SM Storm may also be good)
Not as good as Corsair Dominator
Pros: Cooled my skulltrail Kingston FDIMM memory 10-15 C. It was slightly unsecure, but if the computer is not moved much, it's OK.
Cons: I bought a Corsair Dominator, and it is much better than OCZ. Additional 10 C cooling, and better, secure placement.
Overall Review: It is OK, but I would recommend Corsair Dominator.
