quiet for its capabilities and available, all I asked
Overall Review: great find, but check to make sure it works with you case and power supply. ended up installing in an alternative machine after the first one didn't power correctly with my b550M mobo and 700W power supply.
Case glass shattered before build was completed.
Pros: The air flow is great, though the upper mount can only hold a 240 rad, it can handle 140mm fans. Thumb screws all around was a nice touch. I like how the pattered front looks with RGB lights of a Galahad 360 cpu cooler installed.
Cons: The tempered glass was not shielded on 3 edges and just setting it gently on the kitchen floor while I installed a radiator must have caused it to crack, when I went to reinstall it, just the act of piping it back into place(there are basically snaps in the rear) caused the whole thing to shatter. Now I have a missing panel and the Corsair website doesnt know when a replacement will be back in stock to replace it.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this product unless you plan on building the computer once and never swapping out parts, the force required to close the side panel does not agree with the material they chose to make it out of, I will have to find a fabrication outfit to make a plexiglass replacement, as I dont want to build the whole system just to RMA it.
Works great, but could use a bit more though on fan cables
Pros: The board supports tons of Ram on the QVL list. The usb slots are abundant on the IO panel.
Cons: Fan header placements seemed designed for a specific exotic case. No USB3.1/C header. You will need your own thermal pad to connect the cases m.2 heat spreaders to thinner ssd models as the one provided is 1-2 mm from contact, so all it does is block airflow.
Overall Review: Only the M.2 heat spreader issue was a surprise that couldnt be avoided by looking at the specs and pictures in the listing, and my m.2 regularly reaches 48c while under normal use so still within safe thresholds, but not really effective cooling without filling with your own thermal pads (probably costing another 15$) to get heat transfer to the mobos spreader unless your m.2 is beefy.
Just what I wanted and exactly what was described. shipped fast.
Overall Review: This is the touch, not the paperwhite, and does not fit in cases from earlier versions with more buttons. But it works better than the earlier ones and costs much less than the ones that are only a year newer.
