Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: -Large Capacity -Fast read and writes -Works in raids (currently set up in raid 1)

Cons: -Noisy -Heat -Makes clicking noises (have tested both harddrives that I bought with DFT and other drive tests, come out fine, but clicking noises in my experience and history are always bad)

Overall Review: The drives are fine, but the clicking is worrying me.. seems to only click when either starting or ending access to the drives. Like many others said, drive brand is a matter of preference.. I had several other brands of drives die within a year of each other, so wary of them these days..

SO SO

HooToo HT-IP210F Indoor Wireless IP Camera MJPEG CMOS with IR-Cut Filter (White)
HooToo HT-IP210F Indoor Wireless IP Camera MJPEG CMOS with IR-Cut Filter (White)

Pros: Ordered 2. 1 Works, 1 Works with some Caveats, see cons Video seems to be good, sets up just like every other wireless ip cam I have

Cons: -Chrome usage, can't setup the wireless via Chrome, had to use IE. The IE plugins don't like IE 9, crashes my IE 9 if I try to view video in it. Chrome has no Audio that I can tell 1st one fine, 2nd one PANS way slower than the first. Also the notification light doesn't work (the red light when someone is accessing it on the front of the camera, and yes it is enabled in the settings)

Overall Review: They have a black spot on the sides, didn't realize that when I ordered the white ones. Big cameras, but I have some other brands that are about the same size. I don't feel like fooling with returns for just the notification light, don't think it is worth me paying for shipping personally on an item that came broken on arrival.

Not very good

NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router, Gigabit Router, Open Source Support, Circle with Smart Parental Controls, Compatible with Amazon Alexa (R7000)

Pros: AC Wireless No-ip as part of dynamic providers big range open source compatible

Cons: BIG Flaky(see other thoughts) Can't do wake on lan

Overall Review: After about 2 weeks of it being better than my old Linksys, it went haywire. Reset fixed it up. Then the wireless 2.4 ghz refused to let anything connect (locked up) but 5GHZ was fine. Reset not work, had to completely power cycle the whole router for a minute to get it to work. Printer disappears a lot on it being wired. 2.4GHZ locked up again, this time I installed the Beta firmware, maybe that will help, then the wife called yesterday, internet not working. Had her power cycle it.. now it works again... If I had the option, I never would of bought it. I am going to try to get DD-WRT on it this weekend, maybe it will work better? I hope, barely outside the return policy, cause I would return it if I could. May just go back to my old router anyhow, cause the wife works at home, and has to have internet 100%. When it works, it gives me great range.

Acer K272HULbmiidp Black 27" WQHD 6ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS DCR 100,000,000:1(1,000:1) Built-in Speakers

Pros: No dead pixels See my other review

Cons: no usb hub, not 16:10 and not bezel less Bought 2, colors slightly off Some screen bleed.. but not enough for me to notice or worry with

Overall Review: You can check my other review for more details, but I also wanted to say that I am pretty sure the other review here is by an Acer employee...Kin L. If you look at his reviews, he only has Gateway (now owned by Acer) and Acer items reviewed. Either he really loves Acer, but I smell something fishy.

Great for the money

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL

Pros: Works 8GBS..

Cons: Tall-- won't fit all my slots with an oversized cooler on my cpu

Overall Review: I didn't try to overclock, they are just in a server Another pair of base GSkill value ram turned out to have a compatibility problem, they ran but would sometimes have a bit go bad in file transfers, these don't have that problem.

Great

SNT SNT-125B Black 3.5" SATA Hard drive to 5.25" Bay SATA Mobile Rack Removable Hard drive kit
SNT SNT-125B Black 3.5" SATA Hard drive to 5.25" Bay SATA Mobile Rack Removable Hard drive kit

Pros: Hotswappable SATA port Own cooling fan Uses up my unused 5.25 bays power button (also a con)

Cons: The latch is too easy to hit when trying to lock it, so it pops open -1 egg just for that cause it annoys me The power button is a double edged sword, it's nice, but I wish there was a way to hide it under something.. I have a 2 year old that likes to press buttons Not trayless, but I knew that going in, although I dont actually mount the hard drives in the tray

Overall Review: To the guy complaining about how close the power ports are.. umm.. read the directions... your not suppose to hook them both up. Either SATA power or MOLEX power, you dont need both. I am just using the MOLEX power, it converts down to SATA power, plus I really have no other need besides fans for Molex anymore I also leave the top of it off to get better airflow, hard drive seems to stay relatively cool.. been doing an error scan on a 3TB 7200 rpm drive and it was 36 degrees last time I checked, from the idle temp of about 31 (celsius)

Bait and switch

Ordered what the newegg flash sale had as Plantronics Voyager Legend, what I received was the Voyager Pro HD which is a cheaper model. After noticing this discrepancy, I began investigating. I even noticed that all the online pics were of the Voyager Pro HD. Once clicking the advertised link, it takes you to a page where there are no model names anymore. I feel this was not done in good faith. I am in contact now with Customer Service to get this rectified. Also the Item was default language chinese, and it came from over seas with a USPS certified delivery, so I had to go to the post office to pick up.
