Good Value

SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable/Black) SDCZ6-8192-A11
SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable/Black) SDCZ6-8192-A11

Pros: Inexpensive. Holds 7.5 Gigs after deleting the included software, which is very easy to do. Just select the "NO" option when you first plug it in. Works like it's supposed to. Speed is decent.

Cons: Retractable connector doesn.t lock in extended position. You must hold it open with your thumb. No lanyard included. Metal attachment ring too small.

Overall Review: A good deal for the money. Knocked an egg off for the unlockable connector. The little ring is laughable. Sandisk should have spent the extra 1/4 of one cent for a larger one. My old 1G Cruzer was better thought out. . and who loses caps, anyway?

Works O.K. but overpriced

Trust 11917 Black 3.5mm Connector MV1200 High Sensitive Microphone
Trust 11917 Black 3.5mm Connector MV1200 High Sensitive Microphone

Pros: A little soft on volume when used with my webcam, but otherwise fine. Can be mounted on desktop or stuck to your monitor. Desktop option has vertical adjustment.

Cons: $15 plus shipping? Are you kidding? I bought mine for one dollar. At today's prices, $5 tops. I'm sure the ChiComs are making these for less than .20 each

Overall Review: Try the nearest flea market or dollar store.

No problems

Kingston 1GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model KVR800D2/1GR

Pros: Works fine in my Biostar A760G mobo, with XP 64-bit OS. Inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I buy Kingston RAM all the time. Never craps out. Works fine and is cheaper than other makes.

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4650 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100253DDR3L

Pros: Works fine, has DVI, VGA, and HDMI ports. Can't hear the card above the case fan noise..

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: A mainstream card that works well. Not designed for high-end gaming. Glad I bought it.

An update: So far, so good.

BIOSTAR A760G M2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR A760G M2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Inexpensive, simple, compact. Worked right out of the box. BIOS upgrades available from Biostar and easy to install. Can run Phenom II x 4 CPUs, but not the 125W ones. Supports SATA 2.

Cons: Layout makes second PCI slot useless. AMI BIOS is poorly designed.

Overall Review: Been running two of these boards for a couple months now. Very stable with AMD Athlon 5000+ 65W and AMD BE-2400 45W CPUs. No problems with XP 64-bit OS. (It's better than Vista, IMO) Have updated the BIOS twice from the Biostar website. Current one dated 05/15/09. Remember that this is a budget mobo. Just two memory slots, 1 IDE connector, etc. Works fine for what it was designed for. Only supports 95W Phenom II's. I have not encountered the memory interleave problem mentioned by other users. Strong so far.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2C 64-bit for System Builders
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2C 64-bit for System Builders

Pros: Easy install. Runs well. Only needed to download a couple drivers. Makes full use of CPU and memory. Runs as fast or faster than my 32 bit XP.

Cons: None so far. Will update if problems appear.

Overall Review: I thought I'd gamble on the 64 bit XP because I wanted to support my current and future hardware. The negative reviews had me worried, but it installed and runs fine. Haven't played any games yet. AMD Athlon 5000+ CPU Biostar A760G mobo Kingston 667 mhz 2G mem Sapphire 4650 512mb graphics WD 500Gb SATA Thermaltake 430W PSU HP W1907 monitor
