Love the internal power supply
Pros: - Extremely easy to set up. - Love that the power supply is internal so no wall wart.
Cons: - Only confusing thing is that the LED status lights are off to the left and go in up-down direction rather than follow the ports. - I wish the lights were above/below each port so I could debug faster should a cable come loose or go bad. Or at least put the lights in a 2x8 configuration to match the port layout on the front of the device.
This PSU couldn't replace a Raidmax 700 Watt
Pros: -It was inexpensive
Cons: -Quite working after about 4 hours. Now can't get to turn on for more than a second. -Bought this unit to replace a 700 Watt PSU that's been operating at 90% for a few years. Wanted to have headroom to expand in the future and get better efficiency from my rig. a 1050W unit should have easily done that.
Overall Review: -Wouldn't recommend this to any friend and would tell all friends to stay away from cheap, no-name PSUs like this.
This PSU is great! Been running for close to 3 years now
Pros: - Reliable power supply - I have probably abused this unit but it keeps on working. I have a pretty big rig that is probably using 90% wattage frequently with overclocking.
Cons: - If I had to pick something I wish it came with more PCI-E or SATA cables and less 4 pin connectors.
Overall Review: - RAIDMAX is one of the best brands I've ever purchased. This was a cheap purchase for me but glad I made it. - I will be purchasing RAIDMAX in the future because of this unit.
Terrible produce. Almost burned my house down!
Pros: None
Cons: Piece of junk. Not safe. Terminals get pushed out of the connector if not aligned.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this produce to anyone. It uses 18 AWG wires which started smoking almost immediately and was about to catch fire. I threw the other 3 in the trash after that incident.
Terrible Device
Pros: Really? Nothing. I guess it works ok with USB
Cons: Device is slow and the remote doesn't work as expected. For some reason it records pressing the Left arrow key as hitting the power button. Esc button hardly ever works. The Wifi feature also doesn't work. This device is a $100 silicon paper weight.
