Needed the upgrade

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - Ryzen 5 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM4 65W Desktop Processor - 100-100000927BOX
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - Ryzen 5 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM4 65W Desktop Processor - 100-100000927BOX

Pros: pros, It's a new release to update my 5 year old cpu and a good price with promo code. Really woke up my computer.

Cons: Cons, Not a one.

Overall Review: I needed to replace my first gen Ryzen 1300x cpu. Should be obvious to anyone, I am not a gamer. But I do like an adequate and responsive computer machine. I know that the am4 is winding down, but can still serve me well. The Ryzen 5600 has received some very good reviews from Tom's and GamersNexus and Paul of Hardware fame says it's the only one of recent releases that's worth a 'darn'. I am tickled pink (look up what that means kids) that I made the buy. Long overdue.

Hanging problem too.

ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Looks good. lots of sata ports

Cons: I've been experiencing the same "hanging/Freezes" from week one after installation. I'm running the G.skill F4-2400C15s-8GNT memory chip. With memory prices as they are, I can't experiment with a different brands, it may be less pricey investing in a different MB. What is the major flaw with this board? I've reset BIOS to default and will monitor...otherwise a new/different MB may be in the future. PS I actually convince Intel to replace my 545s SSD in an attempt to fix the hanging. You might imagine the hoops that entailed. RH

Must have

ORICO Tool Free 2.5 inch SATA to USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure 5Gbps HDD Up to 4TB UASP SSD HDD Case with Auto Sleep
ORICO Tool Free 2.5 inch SATA to USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure 5Gbps HDD Up to 4TB UASP SSD HDD Case with Auto Sleep

Pros: Accommodates the old HDD that you replaced with an SSD and gives extra backup storage. Or, even use with SSD. Easy open.

Cons: Only drawback is a need to label with contents.

Overall Review: Yes, would recommend. And I don't understand people who complain in a review that the case is DOA and give 0 stars. Just file an RMA! and move on. Either operator error or inveterate troll.

Like it lots

Western Digital WD Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS500G2B0C
Western Digital WD Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS500G2B0C

Pros: Was shopping for a larger M.2 for some time. Overlooked Western Digital, don't know why, but the SN550 finally caught my eye. Glad of it. I thought I needed a 1T ssd, but realized the 500G will suit my simple desk-top computer machine just fine. I replace a 256 G Intel 760p, which is a tough act to follow...I ran 'Disks' benchmark on my Fedora 32beta and it gave me 3.4GB/sec. reads on the SN550. Which is far above specs., don't ask me what's happening there, I'm technically stupid. Anyway, highly recommended. And of course, 1T version was on sale the next week, but no regrets.

Cons: No cons. Oh, BTW reviewers... don't discount stars because you missed a detail in the product description or you were ignorant of some technical limitation. That's on you, not the product.

Overall Review: Very pleased.

My second Tudia

Motorola Moto G7, G7 Plus Case, TUDIA Slim-Fit [Merge] Extreme Protection/Rugged but Premium Dual Layer Precise Cutouts Phone Case for Motorola Moto G7, G7 Plus (Metallic Slate)
Motorola Moto G7, G7 Plus Case, TUDIA Slim-Fit [Merge] Extreme Protection/Rugged but Premium Dual Layer Precise Cutouts Phone Case for Motorola Moto G7, G7 Plus (Metallic Slate)

Pros: This is an excellent case. I had the very same case with my G5 for 2 1/2 years, and it protected the phone great. It's a durable and perfectly fitting case. After 2 1/2 years only the back showed a few scratches, to be expected.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I'd recommend the Tudia case. Return customer.

Space and speed

Intel 545s 2.5" 512GB SATA III 64-Layer 3D NAND TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSC2KW512G8X1
Intel 545s 2.5" 512GB SATA III 64-Layer 3D NAND TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSC2KW512G8X1

Pros: I bought the Intel 545s primarily on the strength of the review by Allyn Malventano at "PC Perspective"(June 27). He is especially impressed with the sustained writes performance. I did a music transfer from a usb 3.0 of 5.5 Gigs. It took 45 seconds. I'm pretty certain that same transfer to my OCZ SSD took more than 1.5 minutes. Just a nontechnical observation on my part. I'm enjoying the speed and extra space this drive provides.

Cons: I'm a Linux user so I need to rely on the "Intel firmware tool" for Linux/Mac users. That's not really a 'con'... It's good the software is provided, not all makers do so.

Overall Review: recommended

excellent product, excellent service

I never had a package arrive, here in the great white North (D), so soon after order. And works great, as expected.

I got more than I ordered. I ordered a micro SD card capable of 80 megabits per second but the company sent me one capable of 96 megabits per second. It was definitely more than I ordered. A step up.
