Pros: Ok, so I've held off on rating this laptop until I had it long enough to play around with it. I've had this laptop for several weeks now and I'm very impressed with it. Little needs to be said about the speed of the thing. Fast processor, fast GPU, great performance. What I'm really impressed with is the build quality. The thing is sturdy and feels very solid. When compared to my Dell Inspiron I got a year ago this Asus feels like it was carved out of stone and the Dell was made out of straw. The screen is great, I'm not a huge A/V guy so I don't really know what I'm missing by not having 1080 resolution but I think the real estate is nice and the picture is great. I also really like the keyboard.

Cons: Only a few quibbles. The lappy is a little heavy but I knew that going into it. The touch pad can be a little baulky at times and I actually wouldn't mind it being a little smaller. Lastly, the bloatware doesn't bother me too much but what bothers me more is that it didn't come with any restoration disk. What I got instead was a note inside the box saying that 'since this is a refurb the HDD was reformated to protect the previous customers data and therefore the AI recovery doesn't work but there is a pdf file on your desktop telling you how to make a restoration disk' but there wasn't any type of file. So I went off to the webz and downloaded a few probrams to extract my windows key and then found a copy of windows.

Overall Review: This is not Newegg's fault but what really chaps my hide is that UPS left my $900 laptop on my doorstep for the whole world to see a box with NEWEGG.COM all over the box. Other than that I'm very happy with the lappy and with Newegg

Pros: This is a nice TV. The picture is great and the sound is good. Ton's of features and settings to mess with.

Cons: Almost too many settings. I consider myself to be pretty tech savy but this is my first HDTV and I like how my old tv was pretty much plug and play. But it's not too bad once I got over the initial overwhelmed phase.
