Amazing Processor! Within 5% of the 9900k in gaming and miles ahead in video editing/rendering.

AMD Ryzen 9 3rd Gen - RYZEN 9 3900X Matisse (Zen 2) 12-Core 3.8 GHz (4.6 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W 100-100000023BOX Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 9 3rd Gen - RYZEN 9 3900X Matisse (Zen 2) 12-Core 3.8 GHz (4.6 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W 100-100000023BOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Very nice packaging. Stock cooler is adequate if you don't have anything else. Runs 4.0ghz all-core out of the box with 4.5ghz on two cores - no tweaking required Makes overclocking obsolete, this CPU runs fast all the time. Crushes my old first-gen R7 1700 in everything. Everything. Draws less power than a 9900k under load with higher IPC and more cores.

Cons: Can run a little warm, 78c on a Noctua NH-D15 during stress testing, but it's 12 cores w/SMT so that's to be expected. It's still almost 20c under the "max safe temp" and it doesn't throttle.

Overall Review: I think AMD has finally hit it out of the park with Zen 2, and the 3900X in particular. This CPU walks the line between consumer and prosumer product stacks, with excellent gaming performance as well as phenomenal workstation potential. I mostly game on this, with some occasional 4k video editing. Gaming with a 2080ti on a 1440p 144hz monitor is a dream, in every game I've played so far the 2080ti is maxed out and this 3900X is barely breaking a sweat. I would highly recommend this to gamers and prosumers alike.

Most Critical Review

Lasted less than a week - Can't return.

SanDisk SSD Plus 480GB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s, 2.5"/7mm - SDSSDA-480G-G26
SanDisk SSD Plus 480GB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s, 2.5"/7mm - SDSSDA-480G-G26

Pros: Worked pretty well for 5 or so days. Boot times were average for a SATA III SSD, games loaded fairly quickly.

Cons: Lasted less than a week, now Windows will not even boot and error "BOOT DEVICE UNAVAILABLE" pops on the blue screen, even though the drive shows up in the BIOS. Have tried multiple times to repair OS to no avail.

Overall Review: Normally I would just return it as defective after less than a week, but I can't because I threw away the retail packaging. I know better, but it happened. So I'm stuck with it. It's a shame, because I've been buying Sandisk USB flash drives forever and I've never had a bad one of those. I normally only buy Samsung, ADATA, or WD SSDs, but I recently bought a Patriot Scorch NVMe for a game drive and it's good so far so I thought I'd branch out a little. I went out on a limb with this Sandisk because the price was right and I had previous good experience with the brand. I learned my lesson hard, from now on I'll just stick to what I know, and always... Keep. The. Packaging.

Great card! Performs like a Gaming Z Trio for less $$$

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 12GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS 12G OC LHR
MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 12GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS 12G OC LHR

Pros: This card has a very nice aesthetic and the build quality feels great. I got it mainly for the price ($799) but honestly it's really impressed me by how premium it feels, given it's a more budget-oriented model. No flashy RGB or multi-BIOS switch, but it's solid and performs well. I like the minimalistic coloring and non-aggressive shroud design, it pairs well with my overall case aesthetic and matches nicely with my MSI MPG Gaming Edge motherboard. I applied a very simply OC after running MSI Afterburner's tuner and +50mhz on the core / +200mhz on the memory has been completely stable. I kept the stock fan curve and even under 100% utilization @4k gaming the max temp I've seen is 73°c, with average temps in the high 60°s. The fans are audible during gaming, but the pitch is non-intrusive and the card isn't perceptibly louder than my old EVGA 2080 XC Ultra was. Depending on the game, I see sustained boost frequencies of up to 2100mhz on this card and everything I've played so far has kept a solid 60FPS @2160p with no issues. I jumped on this mainly because the 12GB model was the same price as the 10GB and it's just a hair faster, I also feel that before the card is obsolete that extra 2GB of VRAM might help it keep up performance at 4k just a little bit longer.

Cons: Honestly I can't complain about anything for this tier card at this price point, even if they didn't include a case badge in the box.

Overall Review: Definitely recommend over other models, this card OCs to the same levels as the much more expensive Gaming Z Trio. If you don't care for RGB or a multi-BIOS switch this card will get the job done just as well as other options.

It's cool, but doesn't do anything.

Rosewill RWNB16A Gaming Laptop Cooler Notebook Cooling Pad, 5 Silent Blue LED Fans with Powerful Air Flow, Control Panel with LCD Screen, Portable Height Adjustable Laptop Stand, Comfortable with Wrists

Pros: Fans are relatively quiet and the blue LEDs are a nice touch.

Cons: Didn't actually lower any temps in my Dell G15 gaming laptop. Also makes it hard to use my keyboard as the laptop is now elevated about 2" over the desk and I have to awkwardly float my wrist in the air or find some type of wrist pillow.

Overall Review: Kind of useless overall but looks nice.

Card works - however it's obviously a USED card and not refurbished at all.

Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 6GB Mini ZT-P10600A-10L Gaming Video Graphics Card GPU

Pros: The card works well in my son's computer and he doesn't have any issue playing his games.

Cons: While it came in the original packaging, the card arrived in a used and dirty state. There was dust in the fan and heatsink, and large amounts of dust built up on the card below the heatsink. The card still had the original thermal paste which was dry and cracked, and had the unmistakable stink of being in a computer in a home with smokers as it smelled of cigarettes.

Overall Review: After a thorough cleaning and application of fresh thermal paste, the card is in the condition that it should have been when it arrived. It works well, but this listing should be changed from "refurbished" to "used" as it clearly was just boxed up straight out of someone's computer and resold. I have purchased refurbished graphics cards in the past through MSI and EVGA and received them in much better condition (clean and with new thermal paste/pads). If I had known it was going to be in this used condition and not a refurbished unit I would have saved a few bucks and just bought a used card from a popular online auction site that Newegg will not let me post the name of. Pretty disappointed with this deceptive marketing, but the card does work so 3 eggs is fair.

Amazing monitor - Perfect picture

MSI Optix MAG271CQR 27" 2560 x 1440 Resolution 1ms Response 144Hz AMD FreeSync Technology Frameless Design Anti-Flicker Curved Gaming Monitor
MSI Optix MAG271CQR 27" 2560 x 1440 Resolution 1ms Response 144Hz AMD FreeSync Technology Frameless Design Anti-Flicker Curved Gaming Monitor

Pros: Monitor works perfectly and has zero dead pixels Good color and fantastic black levels/ contrast G-sync works perfectly with my RTX 2080 Same price that I paid for my old 1080p VA panel two years ago Stand is very sturdy, monitor seems to be made of good quality materials Toggle "nub" on the back for menu navigation is intuitive and easy to use Nice features - I can pwn all the newb plebs with a crosshair overlay in CS:GO

Cons: None

Overall Review: I upgraded to this monitor from an Asus strix 1080p 144hz VA and the improvement in picture quality is amazing. The colors are vibrant and have a very nice pop without being oversaturated, the contrast is very good with bright whites and deep black levels. The picture on this monitor has a much greater "depth" than my old Asus panel, and 1440p is very crisp and detailed compared to 1080p.

Lost in shipping? NEVER RECEIVED ITEM

Forever shipping? Lost in the Bermuda Triangle? Tracking says it's in transit, has been for a very long time now with no other updates. If I had known it would be like this I would never had purchased from this seller. No communication from the seller regarding extended shipping time or any other delay, item stated 5-17 days for delivery but it hasn't even cleared customs into the USA yet and it's been three weeks.

Great SDD! Fast and cheap!

Did not notice any difference in boot time between this drive and my Samsung 850 EVO even though this one was much cheaper per/GB. I’ve bought a few of these so far and haven’t had a bad one yet.
