Fast but noisy

Pros: Very Fast Hard Drive. Upgraded from Hitachi 100gb 5400 RPM drive (stock) with noticeable difference, especially in data searching and boot time.
Cons: Noisier then 5400 RPM drives. Mainly the clicking made audible when accessing the hard drive. Runs much warmer also. Unless using for games or video editing, not much difference then a good 5400 RPM drive, and you avoid the clicking noise also.
Overall Review: Not Seagates fault, but all 7200 RPM drives are usually more audible then the 5400 RPM variants. Especially in the infernal "clicking" caused by data access. I've tried different Hxxxchi 7200 RPM drives, with the same clicking noise also. Seems to be inherent with the 7200 RPM drives. People that like a quiet as possible notebook and like to hear their clock tick will find this distraction. But its a performance/ noise trade off. One gamers and movie goers I'm sure will be happy to live with, as am I :-)
Nice looking

Pros: Very nice finish! Makes other external drive seems plain. Works perfectly. Nice nylon case.
Cons: Cable included is a monster! Very long thick cable. Mounting screws for the faceplate strip very easily. Drive doesn't like to slide in sometimes to the enclosure. Takes some wiggling. FINGERPRINT MAGNET!
Excellent

Pros: Works perfectly with Sony Vaio A790. Notebook recognized memory no problem, runs very fast!
Cons: None really.
